this story fun to read and at start maybe he look weak as story developed he become something else . mc is Not a dumb char he is pretty good at what he is doing . world background is unknown little explained. maybe because he is in taboo relationship

It's quite rare for me to give such a low rating.. The premise is amazing, that's the reason I put this novel in my library, apparently in the end I'm greatly disappointed. The translation still bearable, a little stiff but still fine for reading experience. The story development is cliche, mundane with a lot of cut out 1-D cannon fodder with tons of senseless logic that's bordering on strings of Deus ex machina.
In regards of character design, the MC idea is good but I truly can't fathom how idiot the MC turned out to be, the hunting adventures already told us how much of muscled-brain he is which is just how irritating to remember the very same person boast a very high theoretical foundation.. For the other characters I have explained my position...
But the one that takes the cake is the world building, truly sloppy, lazy, without any regard for historical context, the author never takes proper research to establish the world building, the origin level, the world evolution, etc. Each of them is contradicting every established statement that was made just in previous chapters...
I just choose to stop reading when the author stated that hot weapon is gone, strategic approach is no longer followed, not mentioning how insane it's that such an important model analysis skill actually put as underrated in the world where advancement of science already at its height...
I'm sorry for the translator to pick this work, there are many other work that need translation that is better than this one...

atrocious level of translation and lack of editing make it too tiring to read.
Different and refreshing compared to other reincarnation stories I've read .
Grammar is decent and only needs slight tweaks , overall enjoyable .
I've read too many stories like this. Quite frankly, even if it is slightly different, with the MC incarnating in slightly later in the story, I am sick of stories like this. Sometimes some might catch my interest and I might enjoy them, but not this one.
I hate this story. Ahem. So basically, the MC decides to start refining pills, so he rents a room to do so. And somehow, the gang of antagonists are inside the room, mocking him constantly. Like, HOW? WHY? Can't the MC kick them out or something? I thought he rented a room, not a theatre. Don't the antagonists have better things to do? There's an assessment coming up soon, shouldn't they be cultivating? Faceslapping is manageable but this story, the author just pours it on the plot with no regard to logic, while the MC just sits there and lets it happen... is unbearable.
Guys I checked out the CN site, the novel is highly recommended and is rated more highly than Ze Tian Ji, the author's most popular work among the Translation community. I suppose this is a novel worth your precious votes.
Don’t bother reading unless your willing to pay a sh*t ton of SS. This story is 1900 chapters completed yet it’s premium from about 200 chapters in. Good story just don’t start because you won’t finish it.

Here's the deal, this is my second review of the novel since January 8th and an update on my previous thoughts.
Imagine being introduced to an interesting world and concept in a deceptively unique way and getting hyped for the direction in which the novel may take.
Now imagine that it doesn't stop introducing you... This novel feels like you're reading a summary to what happens in a much better novel of the same name.
/MC or the Protagonist: /goes into dungeon alone, shows off his amazing skills (wowzers) then wins. MC gets into another impossibly difficult encounter with an incredibly powerful foe, MC wins again, except this time he has 5 people to clap for him as he struts about doing so.
The novel spends too much time explaining how great the protagonist is and not enough time giving the reader what they really want... in other words, the mash and potatoes known as character development.
Most of the enemies are virtually reduced to numbers and hit markers, which would be fine if the entire story didn't revolve around killing them. It's like reading a play by play of a World of warcraft raid. No ******* whether they win or lose as there happens to be a reviving function as it's a video game. Alas I got side tracted let's return to a previous point of mine.
Making a character op is not really a huge bother for me. If it's done right. The problem is, the author has him acting and being treated like a haughty playground kindergartner who found out that he's really good at 4 square for the precise reason that no one else can jump. He has characters mentioning his op gaming prowess as his weird smarts or crazy intelligence when all he truly does is use a spell that he created before we even began reading the novel. Thus leaving us to contemplate whether he even made the damn thing because he doesn't show this "skill" again, atleast not til where I stopped.
/World:/ why does he play this game, where'd he get it, what are the game rules, how come it's so popular that money in game is equivalent to real money, when is this taking place and who the **** is the sister he is supposed to be motivated to save? You can expect none of these questions to be answered as it seems the author is more keen to throw more giant numbers at the MC and then praise him for defeating them.
That's it... really seriously that's all the story amounts to. All his relationships are based off of his incredible gaming prowess and they reek of something stank.
I am just so annoyed by this Novel as it grabbed my attention and then became content to sit in it's own filth as it eventually smelled of rot.
