Make sure to pay attention, there are quite a few POVs to follow in the beginning but I like it, as it helps with world-building......idk what the complaints are unless it's because they can't follow along and get confused? On a side note, hope you get well soon and can continue Aldrich's story!
I tried really hard to like this but I just can't. I'm very confused and nothing makes sense. The family interaction is weird. The MC has constant mood swings of being angry and then guilty for no reason whatsoever. Does he like them or dislike them ? Do they like him or dislike him? We never find out.
Then he goes to the academy without knowing anything and just shows off everywhere, casually insults teachers and casually harasses women that always like it.
Also this guy defeated a dragon, supposedly the strongest kind of creature in the world after about a day of being there. Is he invincible now? If dragons are that weak then why are they a threat? Are teachers stronger than him, cause he doesn't seem worried at all even in the middle of enemy territory.
Sorry for the bad review but I really don't get it.
need to hire an editor, the longer I read the more glaring the Grammer issues...............................................................
(Disclaimer: i only read about 300 something chapters)this novel is meh. It was cool at the beginning, but then it went from a cold mc and his own personal power growth to just army building and nonsense harem most of the time. The power progression of the mc is also absolutely bonkers, he takes forever to make breakthroughs and the requirements to make them are outright ludicrous. what's the point of realms and orders if you can just skip them and kill beyond your order? at first it gave you quite the dopamine rush reading these type of david vs goliath encounters, but then you realize how dumb the power system is. also, never once cared for the whole succubus partner deal, so that was also one of the things that put me off.
.
plot is very interesting... a little slow paced for me I guess... but it's OK as long as it is interesting... all the best and hope for more release... thank you ?
I am not really into sci-fi fiction, so this novel felt quite new to me. I believe the starting could've been better, especially that information dumping part. The way of describing the situation can be improved even more to ease the flow in reading. Otherwise, the storyline is very interesting. Best of luck author!
I love this story ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So overall a really nice series so far. Let me start out by saying that while the grammar can use work, I just personally powered through and a few chapters in I got used to it and could understand, so it may not apply to you, but if you are like me and have some tolerance you can get used to it.
Now onto the main part of the review.
Basically this is a modern romance with cultivation and a system thrown in. The story takes place on a convenient parallel earth where polygamy is legal and accepted. The overall concept has been done before, but I like this one and there is one big reason for that, we don't have to go through the cringe-inducing struggles of getting the women to accept the MC having a harem, don't get me wrong in a modern setting it is more realistic, yet it still makes me cringe.
I was going to do a longer review but got distracted and forgot what I had planned out so I'll stop here. Sorry for the incomplete review, but I still hope it helps.
The good-for-nothing cultivator is a romance-cultivation story between Lu Qingyun and Qin Keqin. He is a first realm cultivator while she is a seventh realm cultivator with a mysterious past.
Read how Lu Qingyun cultivates from a lowly cultivator to a monstrous genius cultivator as he tries to impress the love of his life.
TGFNC is a light story. There won't be lots of killings *roll eyes* or flying cultivators (basically, it is more down to earth) and closer to Xianxia than Xuanhuan.
If you enjoy the story, please add to your collection and support with power stones for my motivation;)

I will keep this an honest review.
Initially it looks like a generic Isekai but it's not trying to hide or use some gimmick. The genre isn't bad imo just that's over saturated and so this novel works for me. What makes this different from most of the others is the mc and him starting at 0. Other novels do it too but it's much more interesting here.
i read about 30 chapters in one go because I was curious about the protag and how he will progress, and the people he will meet.
So give this a try. Atleast read a few chapters before dropping.
As for other stuff like writing, I can't comment on that. My English is pretty basic but I didn't find anything that made me go "Oh look such a dumb mistake!"
that's all. would recommend.
