Another great book author Cass. You never disappoint, that’s for sure, this book had a lot of wild turns and definitely kept me on my toes. This is my second time reading it and I am sure it won’t be my last. Can’t wait for Blair story!

I need to just... sit with this moment. Xu Mo bowing to Lin Wanwan and saying 'I apologize for my shallowness' and then CRYING. I did not expect to be emotionally compromised by a side character's apology arc in this chapter. But the way Lin Wanwan responds—she doesn't gloat, she doesn't make it awkward. She just says 'Because in this entire program, you're the only one who looks at me without calculation in your eyes.' And then she decides he's a friend worth keeping. That line. THAT LINE. It's so simple but it reveals everything about Lin Wanwan's character. She's been through betrayal, she's been shelved for three years, she's dealt with people using her—and she still recognizes genuine kindness when she sees it. Meanwhile, the mysterious account keeps sliding into her DMs. First the million-yuan transfer, then 'Not bad singing,' then 'I'll appear when you truly need me,' and now this anonymous message about having evidence of the contract. Who IS this person? The system can't even read their identity. It's giving major 'shadow benefactor' energy and I'm obsessed. And then there's the anonymous source who says 'Someone who was once trapped by this contract too.' This is clearly setting up a bigger ally arc. The author is weaving in these quiet character moments—Xu Mo's sincerity, the mysterious benefactor, Zhang Yadong stepping up to defend her—while the main plot is exploding. It's layered storytelling and I respect it.

The story is special, I like it! The writing quality is good, the flow is smooth, and the pace is actually just nice! Besides, I think the story is interesting, I'm hooked up right away! I'm so curious about Rayan already! Way to go!
