The author wrote a FOREHEAD KISS and made it feel more intimate than any actual kissing scene I've read in this genre. Let me explain why this works so well. Lu Jing could have gone for the lips. He had every right — they're living together, they've been 'practicing' intense scenes together for half a month, the sexual tension has been building since chapter one. But no. He chooses the forehead. It's protective, it's tender, it's possessive in the softest possible way. And Lin Shen's reaction — forgetting to blink, feeling utterly weak inside, 'on the verge of losing his ability to think' — this is someone who has never been courted gently in his life and doesn't know what to do with it. The line 'getting you used to our current relationship isn't an easy task' hit me like a truck. Lu Jing knows Lin Shen has memory issues. He knows their relationship might reset. And yet he's still investing, still 'marking' him, still trying to build something that can survive whatever comes next. That's not romance, that's devotion disguised as flirtation. I'm not okay.
