Roughly 1400 chapters in, I’m still enjoying this novel. Fluctuates between 6.5/10 ~ 9/10 based on pacing, but it’s consistently been good.

I've read the untranslated chapters, and it doesn't take the female lead (FL) long at all to charm the man, despite her efforts not being explicitly mentioned ? The male lead (ML) has a strong motive for using her for revenge, as there's a misunderstanding about her family's affection. They initially took her in as a replacement for their deceased daughter, but she was mistreated. The original person didn't deserve such treatment, as they might have believed they found love, only to discover it was a lie. The FL's guard is up, and while the ML tries hard to seduce her, it's the other way around in the end ? I'm excited to see her escape. The characters are decent, giving them an 8 out of 10. Overall, I'd rate the story 4 stars.
So far, it's been fantastic ? I appreciate the FL's wit and her engaging interactions with others. The author clearly demonstrates a deep understanding of animals, particularly cats, and the portrayal of ML is a work of art. There's a perfect blend of both feline and human traits, which is adorable ? The development of FL and ML's relationship feels organic and well-paced. For those who adore cats and seek well-crafted narratives, this is an excellent recommendation.
I must caution that if you're a fan of enemy-to-lover stories, immersive narratives, horror elements, and a healthy dose of yandere, you'll find this captivating. The protagonist is enchanting, and he definitely holds his own. The main love interest, often referred to as the devil, is a sadistic yet devoted character who falls hard for the protagonist, a magician. This story had me completely hooked. Although the machine translation is clear, I can tell the translator has put in immense effort. I strongly recommend giving this a read – it's exceptional, and I'm left longing for more after finishing it. Now, what should I read next? It's hard to decide, as this one was just too fantastic.
