What a ride. It's such a shame the author disappeared to take care of their health after 550 chapters, with no indication whether they'll ever return or if this is it. Still a great read, just blue balls you after half a thousand chapters.
At any rate, I continue to hope the author will return again, even if they feel the need to start a completely new story instead. The world's a better place with them throwing chapters at us.
Dimensional wizard
i read a lot of chinese, korean and japanese and they treat english as godly language like wtf?? also chinese president xi jinping just banned english lessons to public schools in china 0-0
This novel is f*cking awesome and I don't understand why he just have 4,3/5 when it was 4,9/5 before. Like they're really some people here who gave bad reviews??? Like what was the reason???? Stop the hypocrisy y'all??. Yes, is true that the synopsis suck, but PLEASE if you throw this novel, I swear you're going to throw all the laughs and fun that it can give. Trust me, start reading that good d*mn sh*t NOW,
is an order!!?
Can I still read this even if I do not know the worlds he goes to like the Terminator haven't watched it yet?
Definitely a solid 5 out of 5! I appreciated how the author portrayed the development of the characters' feelings for each other; it felt organic and genuine, especially Fang Linyuan's journey, despite his initial label as a straight character. It was easy to understand why he fell for Zhao Yuan – I could relate.
When I first started, I had concerns about certain aspects, like Fang Linyuan convincing himself of his love based on appearance, Prince Zhao Yuan forcing affection, sudden love after reciprocation, roles being defined, and discussions about sexuality. Thankfully, none of these fears materialized, and the story surpassed my expectations.
My initial worries, which I'll list for reference:
1. Fang Linyuan denying his feelings due to Zhao Yuan's feminine appearance.
2. Zhao Yuan forcing Fang Linyuan's companionship upon ascending the throne.
3. Fang Linyuan loving Zhao Yuan after knowing the prince's feelings.
4. Confusion over their dynamic regarding dominance/submission.
5. Arguments over Zhao Yuan's perceived androgyny and his role in the relationship.
I'm delighted to say that none of these issues arose, so if you shared my concerns, rest assured that they won't be an issue. The portrayal of their love and the palace intrigue were well-balanced, providing an enjoyable read.
To those considering whether to give this book a chance, I hope my review encourages you. If you decide to read it and prefer to use machine translation, here's a quick guide: Huining Fifth Princess, Zhao Yuan, Zhao Wei, Zhao Yan, and Zhao Quan – His Highness, Fifth Prince (also known as Zhao Chu in the summary, but I'll stick to Zhao Yuan for clarity).
Happy reading, and may the context clues help you navigate the translations! Good luck!
Ya, he looks like a edgy water elemental, somehow being drowned in a waste pool...
My man. ?
It was a pleasure conversing with you. I concede.
Is it ongoing or complete or worse author abandoned it like the custom demon king novel.
And as for transportation its ok as long as i dont get brain f*ck*d too much?
Btw i felt some accomplishment seeing the long stacked of replies and comments
Please check the grammar, it is spoiling such a good story and making it boring to read. The first few chapters were ok then the translator started making too many grammatical errors
Lyrica acting like a jealous lover was really disturbing. If this was tagged as Yuri, it would still be fine because I would be prepared, but it wasn't. I was really caught off guard and I felt really uncomfortable reading how Lyrica imagine the FL doing some perverted GL scenes.
You aren't just a cutie?~
