I will be honest with you. The story is good, the plot, and the characters. And it did also reminds me SAO on this story and that was cool. However, you should try giving a little space format on Shinji's explanation. Anyways, keep up the good work.

This is a completely pointless esoteric novel. It talks about Taoism, Buddhism, Heavenly Scriptures and all sort of stuff. But it's completely aimless since the story doesn't go anywhere. The protagonist gains strength easily - his system rewards him for ever captive demon he kills. He doesn't ever mature as a person, but he sure does gain a lot of powers (invulnerable body, 100,000 years Taoist cultivation etc).This author achieved a record. He made the most boring repetition vaguely interesting (all that happens in this story is description of the protagonist waking up, executing a demon, harvesting its organs, recording events in his journal/blook [now rinse, repeat forever]) - but so what? The heart of this story is pointless, there's no development in narrative, or the protagonist. It's a well-written tragedy. Shame since this novel clearly puts a lot of effort into world building.

The story is quite interesting, and MC is super OP.. The MC growth is very fast.. This novel focuses on MC and almost no side characters.. I read the whole 130 chapters that exist here, but I'm not sure where to read the raw (or what is the novel title in Mandarin) since this novel has stopped updating for more than 2 years..
I am pretty sure it has been abandoned by the translator for doing a bad job in translating this novel.. So, don't be confused by the status of this novel "hiatus" since the webnovel is trying to reduce the number/statistics of the author abandoned the novel in webnovel..
Well, this story ruined due to translator laziness.. You can say that he is just using MTL instead of translating properly or letting other people translate it perfectly.. You also will get confused by the gender of characters.. Plus, I'm not sure either the author or the translator, hut one of them have CREATING A NEW unit of measurement and symbol.. Why? In this novel, you would often see 10W, which is equivalent to 100,000 (W=10,000).. Sometimes, they (author and translator) use lower case (like 10w instead of 10W).. They also use 10.4E, which I have no idea what "E" stand for or what it really mean..
BTW, this is almost MTL level.. The translator is too lazy, too translated it properly.. So, unfortunately, this novel is ruined by the translator..

This is what I hoped all system/gacha stories should aspire towards. Fantastic worldbuilding where the author fleshes out the meat behind the summoning system and the lives of the gacha characters within.
Even the world seems like it could make sense in a gacha game. The main character and the side character have been super interesting too.
