FL, who was once a top-tier assassin feared by all for her methods and skills, now seems incredibly foolish. She suddenly stops using her formidable skills and allows herself to be beaten up repeatedly.
I resonate with Shine Bright and Erumwhat's opinions. The story lacks depth and at times, I found myself skipping more than reading. The plot felt repetitive, and I couldn't continue past chapter 180. Although I enjoy slice-of-life narratives, this one was too slow-paced and lacked substantial plot development. For example, the character dynamics during the typhoon arc felt overpowered, which doesn't quite fit the genre.
Despite the cute cubs, I must admit that the translation was a bit of a headache due to numerous errors – it seemed like only lightly edited machine translation. I gave it three stars because I did read through the extras, but I skipped the couple storylines. There were several characters like Liu, the divorced individual, and those from the old military setting who were largely forgotten. A brief mention or two in the extras would have been appreciated.
In my opinion, the main story could have ended earlier, around 100 chapters, if they had trimmed out unnecessary or unexciting content. Regardless, I appreciate the translator's efforts.
