This novel made my day, I hope it gets picked, and the plot becomes more and more better.It is pure comedy and a good stress reliever, at least till chap 20.Now let's hope it gets picked.
This book is amazing! Never have I ever read a book that is staying so true to its synopsis and the promises made to the readers. Also the updates are incredible stable with one chapter every day without missing one!Author-san keep it up!
Im caught up with Translations. I really want to like this, I really do. But to soon to judge this story. My first impression of MC is - incompetent and slow-dim witted, perhaps even naive. He behaves like a Newbie Gamer all the way through. Nothing goes as planned. The NPCs know more about the Mechanics then he does - even though he read the guidebook as well. I understand the Author trying to make him seem like a normal person who was dragged into this but he’s a man, get a grip lol. It’s quite worrying if this gets in politics, I can see him easily getting caught up in unnecessary things.There is still hope for this novel. If MC group gets overly powerful quickly, so the drama is nothing. Also if MC establishes his npcs as his wives soon. That’d save this novel. (Because obviously they’re going to be courted after) I really like these first 4-5 girls. They each have their own personality. I’m glad MC not a pervert but it wouldn’t hurt to be more dominating.
Was an interesting idea that's ruined by the authors 1 inability to keep a consistent logical timeline, 2 cool loot that is nerfed or disappears from the story entirely shortly after it was introduced, and 3 poorly written fights. Though other than those the story IS well written.

Very very interesting story to read. Its easy to read and the MC is soloing, not doing some harem stuff which is common in another novel which I like. Kudos to the author for writing this amazing novel
A really good novel content wise, but it's to read the author seems in need of a good editor. I belive with a good editor this novel could get a good placing in the ranking list.Hopefully it'll improve.
I hate writing a review, but this novel is just compelling me to do so. Anyway, this is the very lighthearted eastern fantasy novel I have ever read and very refreshing after reading a lot of eastern fantasy, in which every chapter is about fighting, fighting, and fighting. I love how the story progressed. Instead of narrating about fighting enemies, rivals, young master, etc., the author chose to make the story more interesting, and he seems trying hard to avoid any cliche events that often happened in most eastern fantasy novels.Anyway, this is an outstanding novel, at least for me.

This is one of my most loved webnovels. The characters build up is spectacular and I love the hardworking MC to death. His storyline is realistic and the MC isn't over powered he falls but rises and sometimes seems like he won't rise again. It ..... I can't describe I feel sad for those who don't read it and like webnovels. I was extremely sad when radiant translations stop it. I praise you Qudian that you will not fair my expectations and continue where it left off.

The novel seems cliche with the same 'trash' MC that gets looked down upon by the rest of the world, but he slowly rises to power. However, the context is rather unique in that it is cultivation based in the modern world. According to the synopsis, there was some change in the magnetic poles and the world changed, hence the New Era. I anticipate seeing how modern tech gets linked to past Chinese myths (something like Percy Jackson)Also, the character of the MC is unique and the story is quite funny. It's definitely a worthy read! :)
