Could you please tell me which side chara was it, oh don't mind me its been a few months since I completed it and it is quite long so I don't remember.
This is another entry in the "Against the Gods" series, characterized by rapid-paced action and standard cultivation tropes. The protagonists have been tolerable so far, but it seems their development may take a downward turn. The main character is rather unremarkable, with the book's saving grace being its comical monster pets, reminiscent of Lord 5, and its breakneck storytelling.
I really enjoyed this novel. However, in terms of plot, I'd give it 3.7 stars. The character development earns a 3-star rating. Yet, I absolutely loved the trope of amnesia leading to them becoming lovers, which bumped my overall rating up to 5 stars.
In a nutshell, it's a story about enemies turning into lovers while navigating the intricate plots and schemes of a dynasty. The novel covers a lot of ground, with numerous subplots that sometimes had me skimming through chapters. Despite these tangents, I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions between the main characters—they were so spicy! ☺️
Regardless of how you interpret it, this novel should definitely carry a strong *incest* warning due to the plot. The main character reincarnates as her twin brother's sibling in her past life and discovers they're not biologically related but raised as siblings. Given this context, it's difficult to view their supposed "love" without feeling disgusted. The male character might be excused marginally because he lacks her prior knowledge, but she does – she knows full well what's going on.
Everytime their flirtation was described, it felt like a choking sensation for me, an unpleasant mix of bile and discomfort. It's hard not to wonder if her feelings towards him extended from her previous life. Despite giving the book only one-star, it keeps automatically showing a higher rating of two stars, which is quite frustrating.
The book receives a real score of 6.8 out of 10. It's an engaging read but lacks uniqueness, leaving little to linger in memory. The story revolves around Eugene, who becomes reverse-isekai'd to Earth to assist in battling monstrous waves. After securing peace for the world, Eugene seeks his own happily-ever-after by returning home and opening an inn, both to honor his parents' desires and enjoy a quiet retirement. The novel takes on a slice-of-life format, with chapters detailing Eugene's efforts to transform his inn into a top-notch establishment, incorporating modern amenities.
However, the narrative gains momentum as Earth's monsters breach his original world, prompting Eugene to balance his inn's success with the task of stopping them before a full-scale conflict arises. The story offers a mix of humorous and emotional moments, particularly through Eugene's interactions with staff and guests. Despite this, the author seems to struggle with managing a large cast, with supporting characters like Eugene's parents and pet mandragora appearing underdeveloped at times, almost as placeholders or mere diversions.
Overall, "Nice Slow-Life Novel" would be a fitting description for those in search of a leisurely read without demanding a complex plot. The book might appeal to those looking for a relaxed, feel-good experience amidst its minor character and pacing issues.

Lord of mistery
Really recommend! A few chapters in and you get addicted easily! At first I though this would be like other reincarnation stories where, it's all about face slapping and dog barking but no! Luo Wei directly destroys the root of the problem! No bickering or whatsoever.I don't mid the tragedy tag because this novel is completely worth it!Author, if you make a bad ending, please do it in painful but beautiful way!
The plotline gets weird and nonsensical. The FL is dumb and stupid. Having the gift of premonition but disregards all the signs. She is all talk. Lucky she has live that long. They are running away and she chose to swim and dilly dally on a lake instead of hurrying for safety. Who’s dumb enough to do that? She must have been dropped in the head when she was a babe. Im out. I can’t read a story portraying a godly female who is stupid and ridiculous. Waste of time.
