I went searching for a translation and found many that sounded like they were put through google translate. When I finally came across this one, I was blown away by the quality! It really feels like an official translation! Is there a reason that the updates have stopped for nine months? If you're taking time to translate the book, could you please let us know? As the book itself, I was completely blindsided by the first chapter. I never would have guessed such dark content would come from a book titled "Dumb Husky and His White Cat Shizun". Mo Ran turned me off quite a lot in the beginning, but as I see his character growth, I'm anticipating to see who he'll become. My favorite parts are when we get to see Chu Wanning's POV. It's absolutely heartbreaking (and I relate so hard). What a way to realize one's own self worth through seeing yourself in another character. I know, realistically, he'll get a happy ending, but I also know, realistically, that he'll suffer so much to get there. Mo Ran... please treat him well.The official release doesn't come until October where I am. I'd love to see an update and get a better grasp on the story before committing myself to buying it. (Money makes us all bearers of the curse) All other translations truly pale in comparison. Please let us know if you'll continue! Either way, thank you for the time and effort you put into this. It's really appreciated!

Summary: Basically **** plot, but the **** is terrible and the story makes negative sense. Also the author seems to want to make the readers as angry as possible. Don't waste your time reading this story. I imagine the author is a hormone filled angsty **** on crack based on how erratic the story proceeds, and the immensely crude rendition of any female characters. I have to commend the translator on the translation quality, but even they have given up on the story at chapter 125. I've read ahead, and I can totally relate: We read fiction for entertainment but this story is so far fetched it's infuriating. Every second paragraph is an completely unexpected twist that the m/c seemingly will never overcome but then the next, he will MIRACULOUSLY solve it. The worst part is 99% OF THIS COULD BE AVOIDED IF THE MC JUST DID THE LOGICAL ACTION AT THE TIME!!! So I'm dropping this novel, and for good riddance, I'd say...
So far my take is this is a slice of life cultivation novel. Really enjoyed it and would advise you to give it a go and vote accordingly. You can trust me, I'm a stranger on an app. ???
