Okay can we just talk about Yan Huaijin for a second because THIS MAN. He is literally the most transparent pouter I have ever encountered in my entire life and I am HERE for it. The carriage scene is absolutely peak childhood sweetheart energy and I cannot stop thinking about it. So Pei Yunting hears some kids calling each other brother and suddenly Yan Huaijin is giving her the coldest shoulder known to mankind. And she KNOWS. She immediately recognizes he's sulking because she knows him too well. The fact that he would never admit it himself and just waits for her to coax him is both adorable and exhausting. I can literally see him sitting there with his arms crossed like a grumpy cat. And then his excuse?? He's mad because she calls Yan Huaize "Brother Aze" but never calls him brother?? BRO. You are a prince of the empire and you are jealous of a childhood friend's nickname?? The sheer pettiness of it made me laugh out loud. But then he says something actually vulnerable: "He had met her first. He had always been the one protecting her." And suddenly I'm like oh. Oh no. He's not just being childish, he's genuinely insecure about his place in her heart. The moment where he grabs her wrist and traps her in the corner of the carriage to demand an explanation gave me actual butterflies. His line "What a joke" when he dismisses the idea of Nanping Princess being more important to him was such a smooth move though I'm sure he thought he was being romantic and not slightly unhinged. Pei Yunting's face burning crimson because of the wine AND his words is the perfect reaction. And Zhan Yuan overhearing all of this and wishing he were deaf?? That man is suffering as our shadow. The fact that he's been silently pounding his chest on behalf of his master one moment and desperately wanting to block his ears the next is comedy gold. The whole dynamic between these two is just so rich. Ten years of unspoken feelings, hidden beneath pride and duty and all this gorgeous tension. I need them to just communicate like normal people but also I don't want it to resolve too quickly because the slow burn is everything.
It was quite... okay. I appreciated that MC and ML chose the legal path rather than delving into the black market. Most novels with similar themes often resort to illegal activities during the development phase, so this was a refreshing change. However,
there was a notable lack of real conflict. Everything seemed too smooth. The ex-wife, the ex-husband, the narrow-minded sister-in-law, and the annoying neighbor—all these characters came and went within a chapter. There was no significant drama, making the story feel incredibly boring and monotonous.
I waited over 50 chapters for the ex-wife to appear, only for her to be dismissed in just three paragraphs.
The characters’ arcs felt flat, resolved in a few lines, and the MC faced no real challenges. She also comes across as a bit of a Mary Sue; everything she touches turns to gold effortlessly.
She single-handedly elevates her entire family, and not a single member faces any setbacks. They all magically transform from farmers into wealthy tycoons. It’s hard to believe.
There was a lot of lost potential and plot holes. , it was extremely boring.
My opinion with this story:

All men (except MC) aren't allowed to be arrogant,
All men (except MC) must be passive and obedient toward women,
The power of friendship? No,
The power of incestuouship? Yes,
At one point MC overpowered and at the other time author nerf him so his harem can shine,

(almost) All woman, in this story, are always right.
Seriously guys, this novel treat all men except MC like a trash. MC character is; a busybody, a simp, an antihero that act like a hero, a RutHless yet FaMiLy GuY.
The bromance in this novel is so strong it feels like bl ?, worst part is, you'll keep supporting for it ?. I mean seriously at this point Kiyoung x Hyunsung is the only solution
