i can only say that the system was good.... and thats it. the mc is a racist over-nationalistic chinese man, everyone who are not chinese are the enemies of china. everything chinese is superior to everything that is not chinese. this novel just highlights the fact that the author is biased and racist. also the mc is p*ssy and hypocryte in a not so funny way. poor sense of humor and too much face-slapping. also, for some unknown reason, i kinda look down on the chinese now that i read this novel.final thoughts: i only read this because of the system, everything else is urban low-fantasy garbage.
Read until chapter 28. Read only if you want to read something thats written by someone that doesnt know the different between ’a sign’ or ’a sigh’. Yeah it is bad.The author puts later chapter behind paywall but is too lazy to even check the story for spelling errors or grammar errors, something that can be done in under a minute by copy/paste to chrome docs > check and fix errors > post chap. I feel bad for people needing to unlock future chapters. With this quality it should be free to read.The story had potential. Though author dont know the valur of money, example: buying a dinner for 5k dollars and buying a store for 6k dollars.The characters are all so perfect without a single flaw.. no really, its very boring with no development. MC is suuuper handsome and I feel like I’m reading some wish fulfillment.

No. She walks into Aunt Wu's house, grabs vegetables and eggs, and says "I'm only doing what you do." THAT LINE. I literally laughed out loud. It's such a sharp, clever move — using the woman's own tactics against her while the whole village watches. And then she distributes the goods to the people who defended her? Perfect. She turns a humiliating situation into a public display of her own power and generosity at the same time. But what really got me was how she handled Xiao Ziyi. After all that public drama, she slips him an egg in the dark and then immediately regrets it. "Just think of it as repaying him for the candy." NO YOU DON'T. You absolutely do not. The fact that she noticed he took the blame for saving Xiaohu and gave her all the credit, and then she tries to play it off as transactional? That's not repaying a debt, that's a girl trying not to feel feelings. And Xiao Ziyi? He BOILED THAT EGG and ate it like it was something precious. Bro, it's an egg. But also... yeah, I get it. It's not about the egg. The Lin family dynamics are also fascinating. Aunt Wu beating her daughters-in-law and son because they didn't defend her publicly? That's some next-level toxic energy. And Lin Yun hiding under her blanket, terrified of being caught as the real instigator? She's playing these long games but clearly has zero courage when it comes to facing consequences. Meanwhile Lin Yiran is out here running the whole village like a CEO. The contrast is everything.
