I need to talk about the ritual scene because WOW. The author really knows how to paint a picture. Let me walk you through it. Guan Xuxu pulls out this thumb-sized brush dipped in cinnabar and a jade tablet. She places it on Song Yuli's forehead and — here's the detail that got me — "a wisp of black energy flash across the tablet, disappearing in the blink of an eye." That's it. That's the line. Five words and I'm seeing it. I'm watching this black smoke curl up from jade that should be impenetrable. Then the talismans. She raises her hands, palms facing each other, and the five yellow talismans "seem to be pulled by an invisible force, standing upright and neatly aligned in her palms." Everyone in the room — including the fraudulent Master Lu — widens their eyes. And then she speaks: "Heaven's way is clear and bright, Earth's way is tranquil and peaceful, merging the cosmos, all spirits return to Fate. By my decree, break!" Her voice is described as "clear and pure as a spring" but with "sharp and commanding authority." I literally got goosebumps reading this. The talismans shoot toward Song Yuli like they're guided by invisible threads, attach themselves to five positions on her body, and then — crack — the jade plaque splits in two. Simultaneously, some middle-aged man in a shop several blocks away spits blood and collapses. The cross-cutting between the ritual and the spellcaster's backlash is cinematic. I swear I could see this as a film. The atmosphere in that room shifts from chaotic and tense to this almost sacred silence where everyone is holding their breath. Even Old Madam Song, who was just probing suspiciously, goes wide-eyed with shock.

This is a rare kind of story. At its core, it is a tragedy, veiled beneath a thick layer of humor.
The main character (MC) acts like a robot, always having a backup plan for every situation, making him seem overpowered (OP). However, in reality, he isn't. The goddess, who operates based on emotions, is essentially a "buttmonkey" who constantly gets into trouble, creating challenges for the MC. Essentially, the MC and the goddess are complete opposites, and the story unfolds from the goddess's perspective.
The most intriguing aspect is how the author builds tension, even when we know the MC won't fail. Through the goddess's viewpoint and her misadventures, there's a constant sense of danger, making you worry that something might go wrong. Yet, it feels incredibly satisfying when the MC ultimately succeeds.

As mentioned, the heart of the story is a tragedy. I'm unsure if the author can maintain the story's quality until the end, as the most significant revelations have only just occurred. It really feels like nothing will surpass the recent emotional rollercoaster:
