Don't worry he doesn't keep using that name for long and starts calling himself Klein and the names of other characters are also pretty western, for instance his siblings, Benson and Melissa. If that's all thats got you hesitatant definitely keep reading.
Also the world building for this story is amazing and I definitely think you'll enjoy it.

The title of this novel is misleading, the mc is not the Emperor nor does he want to be an emperor . His a dog that's only loyal to the country and wants to be under some useless empire sage that knows only how to steal his sons girl. The novel never actually tells you that the emperor is incompetent, according to MC he's a dragon amongst men, the novel tries to say that there are mysterious reasons for why he doesn't do anything when his country is going to sh*t. But this is absurd, this is a time travel story! The country did go to sh*t in the previous timeline. No matter what his mysterious reasons are, we know it failed.
So far, I've found the novel quite engaging, albeit somewhat melancholic to my preference. However, the compelling writing compensates for it. If you're after an enjoyable academy-themed tale with well-developed characters, this one is definitely worth recommending.

This is essentially a heartwarming, indulgent tale without much complexity. Don't dwell on the logic behind the development of the relationship between the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML), as the author has clearly stated in both the synopsis and chapter notes that it defies conventional reasoning.
The connection between the MC and ML is gentle and affectionate, with the MC providing comic relief. The supporting characters are also engaging, each with their unique traits. However, the MC's character becomes somewhat irksome around the middle due to her excessive focus on money, which is repeatedly mentioned to the point of becoming a tiresome theme. The excessive use of titles as a plot device initially intended as humor only serves to amplify her annoyance.
If you're looking for a lighthearted romance that skips straight to the romantic storyline without much buildup, this might be a good choice. But if you prefer a more nuanced story with gradual emotional and psychological growth, it's best to look elsewhere.
