Absolutely love this series. This book was amazing and sooooooo loved the beautiful bond attached at the end. Love, love, love Marcel. He may be my favorite character after this book, though I do love all the characters. Amazing writing, can’t wait for the series to continue.
I haven't finished the book yet but I liked every chapter eagerly awaiting the next.

Great book! I wasn't sure at first when I started reading it but after a few chapters I couldn't put it down. I immediately started reading the next book in the series and just finished the latest book. All are terrific in my opinion!

That's not just a disagreement about money — that's a fundamental clash of worlds. Lin Xiran is asking for compensation that reflects the actual damage done: a destroyed phone, a scratched arm that could get infected, the emotional toll of being confronted by people who see her as less than human. Her stepmother hears an extortion attempt. The stakes here are so much bigger than a clothing store argument. Every interaction Lin Xiran has with her family is a battle for recognition. If she backs down now, what does that say about every other confrontation she'll face? The 3 million yuan her father gave her isn't just money — it's the only validation she's ever gotten from him, and her family is treating it like she stole it. What makes this scene so tense is that the reader knows exactly how this could escalate. We've already been told someone was fired for falling on the CEO. We know this stepmother is capable of physical aggression (she SMASHED the phone). We know the stepsister has a track record of viciousness. And yet Lin Xiran stands there and names a price. She doesn't flinch. She says "call the police" like she's not the one who's been wronged her entire life. The internal conflict is just as sharp. Lin Xiran has memories of a previous life — did she face this kind of treatment there? Is she handling it differently now? The fact that she's calculating compensation instead of just walking away shows growth. She's learned to fight back smart, not just fight back hard. And underneath all of this — the CEO is still out there somewhere, and he saw her. He saw her walk out of that fitting room. The next collision is inevitable and I am not ready for it.
Great book
This was a good read. I would have loved to have his mate character more developed. It wrapped up too fast for me once he found his mate.
