This is a new book, but it has captured my attention faster than others i have read, good characters, good designs on the Golems there are a few misspelled words or weird wording, but i am looking forward to more chapters to watch the growth of all the characters and know more about this world,

its a pretty good story up until around chapter 100ish, though obbiously it has issues. primarily, its how casually the MC can grow in strength, but i enjoyed it cause i like overpowered MCs. however, around chapter 100 it seems to change to an entirely different story. The MC goes from being a body refiner (thus having a strong and muscular body) to being thin and lanky. he goes from being an extremely acomplished alchemist to being incapable of making a basic fasting pill. he goes from being able to make pill after pill easily to making a single pill exhausting him. read at your own peril, it was a waste of my coins
Translation quality dropped after Chapter 44 (MTL is probably better). Don't waste your money on this.
I don't understand why qidian keeps hiring the translator "549690339". His translations are so bad. Every single novel that he translates becomes garbage even if the source material his pretty good or has some potential. It is quite impressive to be so bad at your job and still be able to keep it.
Too racist for my taste but will continue reading it for a bit it I drop it. It might change. Joking about 911 is not very nice either. It is Chinese author so no idea if they joke about it there often but for western readers it might be insulting.
Overall I had i hopes for this novel however the reality of it is that this novel is ruined by the incompetent translator or proofreader. My eyes bleed over the bad gender translations and some idiotic paragraphs which I put down as a cash grab with word count. One particular phrase in the MCs second reincarnation was his reference to his mother as a cheap woman. The negativity attached to such a phrase seriously wore on me a lot.
The obvious east vs west bashing is strong in this book and this is seriously a shame as it could have been so much better.
Anyways the fact the novel was on a free read allowed me to read this and even getting up to 100 odd chapters, i really couldnt stomach it anymore.
Overall, if you can look past the woeful translations (MTL at its finest) and the culture bashing then maybe you can give it a go, however my recommendation is give this a hard pass.
I don't think this is translation. This reads like a young authors new work. Kinda awkward. Mixes in the standard elements of cliche. Reading the first fight scene made me want to skip. Hopefully, improves further on.
Why does everyone in this novel act like a idiot provoking the mc for no absolute reason:/
An interesting novel depicting an ancient cultivator waking up in the new era. Good story development so far, intriguing plot but not too complex for the reader. It is good to binge read
