I kennot. I just want to rant. I thought it is as fluffy as it can get but there’s heartache in here which made me pause reading a lil bit because I jump form chapter 1 to 40 within a day and I don’t like that this is 77 chapters only. I dreaded reading this novel so fast.
I had high hopes cause of the high ratings but frankly disappointed in this. ML and FL just pisses me off in a way that FL can’t reject ML’s ‘advances’. There had been many instances where ML just force himself on FL and that’s just scream rape/sexual assault. Style of writing just get more cringe the more I read it. I thought I can tolerate it but I can’t.
Background of both FL and ML are good though. Nonetheless, good effort in updating for fans that like it.
After reading the comments, I decided to check out the first chapter, just to see the level of cringe.
Immediately the MC's little sister is referred to as 'little loli'. Yeah, no.
The impression this novel gives is that the author don't know wtf he's doing. Overall Ancient Godly Monarch is trash but if you want something to pass the time and if you are a hardcore fan of the genre this is for you. Just be warned this is no hidden gem, just a bad novel that i would rate as avarage due to my personal enjoyment.
