This is one of the best love stories that I have ever read. A true page turner, heart stopper, and tear jerker all in one. I can't wait for the rest. I hope it keeps me crying and waiting to see what happens next. Will Andro finally get the truth and forgive Sapphire or will he still marry Andrea?

I need to talk about how this sequence is structured because the pacing is absolutely relentless in the best way. It starts SO calm — Su Wanqing by the stove, drying meat, occasional glances out the window at the rain. You could almost fall asleep reading this. And then BANG BANG BANG. Su Hua at the door, grabbing her wrist, accusing her of everything under the sun. The transition from domestic tranquility to full-on confrontation happens in literally one paragraph. That's not just good pacing — that's predatory pacing. The author lulls you and then pounces. What I love is how each scene escalates the stakes without feeling rushed. First Su Hua confronts her at home. Then they go to the infirmary. Then Lin Man drops the bomb about Lu Yan leaving a note. Then Su Weiwei performs her tragic victim act. Then Su Hua threatens divorce. Each beat adds pressure, and Su Wanqing just... absorbs it all and keeps walking. She doesn't break. She doesn't collapse. She folds the note, puts it in her pocket, and leaves. The chapter breaks are well-timed too. Chapter 24 ends with Su Hua revealing that Lu Yan's boat rescued Su Weiwei — huge revelation, huge cliffhanger. Chapter 25 opens with Su Wanqing already processing this, already suspicious. No time to breathe, which is exactly right because neither the characters nor the reader gets a moment to relax. And that ending with Zheng Songyun? Perfect. Just as Su Wanqing is walking alone in the rain, emotionally drained and mentally tangled, someone new appears. The story pivots from confrontation to something quieter, more mysterious. It's a breath of fresh air without losing momentum. The author knows exactly when to tighten the screw and when to let the reader exhale.
