The only racism is from characters specifically said to be racist. And they never say China is number 1. China has a lead due to that being where seer started the game. Plus later we see that they have a slight edge in genes but it's not so massive that it matters.The only people who are shown to be superior is anyone who has been trained in the "game". Since the alien civilization has had billions of years to develop vastly superior tech and cultivation material compared to anything on earth.Plus every country we see shows patriotism. We even see why they show so much patriotism since most of the people who are showing it are military people or politicians.The players show "patriotism" in that they like to say their country is the best but that's also done in games and is just being reflected here. Most of the players don't actually care about their country and just care about the game. They just mess with other country's players for fun.
I like his assistant Hong Hong he is awesome and kind of like a body guard.

A story made of cliched plot points. The MC being a reborn world jumper, the parents poor, and the father a blindly trusting fool to name a few. I'm amazed that the author can shove so many crap ways to show the dad being an idiot in one chapter. I'm stopping my reading at chapter 39 since I just can't take the crap contained by it anymore. I know the market is flooded and you have to be a bit nationalist with your leanings but this novel seems to exhibit how the average citizen's interaction with the government is always like dealing with a corrupt official. And the antagonist is a 5-6 year old girl referred to as "Lolita". No doubt she'll start loving the MC at some point soon. It's just bad. Author should stop writting this and lay out the plot trajectory for the first Arc and restart it from the beginning with the same world and characters. The place and some people have a good setup but are handled badly so the story is just not worth the time to read or translate.
One of the few cultivation novels that actually make a difference.
Qin Yun is no cripple, who is rejected by his family, just to rise to sudden power to beat everyone to a bloody pulp.
He is also no child, which acts wise beyond his years (Chapter 1 - Age 21).
There are no stale cultivation "numbers" (realm 3 stage 10!!) and demonic beasts are not just some sort of currency the MC can use to power up beyond normal means.
The world is deserving of being called a Xianxia novel and the means of fighting are colorful - and don't need random manuals of increasingly high grades (mortal/earth/heaven).
The MC is neither arrogant, nor cruel beyond common sense. He actually cares about his family and friends (or partner), even after 100+ chapters. They haven't become an afterthought just yet.
If you need some wholesome story of cultivation, you should give it a try.
I am a little peeved at the description and story development. I have expectations that Synopsis and Descriptions are not total spoilers but just a taste of the first 50 or so chapters....I am extremely disappointed that I am at chapter 90 something and no damn skull has shown up!!! It's killing me...and to make matters worse when searching the internet of spoilers about this mysterious skull no one ever answers about it!! IF IT AIN'T IN THE BOOK DON'T WRITE IT IN THE DAMN DESCRIPTION!

Otherwise pretty neat book, its actually not too many cliches his cheat is actually pretty unique like, might not even call it a cheat but a birthright or something. Hopefully he finds his skull friend soon or I'm dropping out of sheer frustration.
