The storytelling is exceptional! I adore the banter and the dynamic between the characters. The emotional journey they've been through tugs at my heartstrings. I genuinely appreciate a heartfelt, emotionally intense narrative, so I highly recommend giving it a read. The protagonist's behavior, which may seem unfeeling at times, is justified as we delve deeper into her reasons. The male lead's poignant moments add to the overall depth of the story.
4 months ago I commented and discussed few problems with this Novel. Coming back now because I literally have nothing better to do, I continued to read ch 100 - 200 onwards.

Wow, this is suprisingly good
if it's about beast taming, i recommend trying Unscientific Beast Taming
Don't mistake this for "Gourmet of Another World." The only commonality between the two is the main character running a store. It's not an overpowered protagonist with a security system or robotic helpers; there's no branching out to manage additional shops. It leans more towards a Mary Sue element, with no constant customer troubles. Up to chapter 1000, there's only been one arrogant young master at the start. I'd rate it 5/5 for slice-of-life and OP main character, but without a harem aspect.
I highly recommend reading the manga adaptation instead of the novel, but if you're a fan of the manga, the novel offers additional depth. Many events are exclusive to the book, and it provides multiple perspectives, particularly the male lead's, which enhances understanding of their relationship dynamics. The novel's exploration of the ML's thoughts and feelings, often kept mysterious in the manga, is quite engaging.
The extra content featuring the main couple was a delightful treat, especially after all the events in the story. A spoiler alert: their loving little family, with its precious child, tugs at your heartstrings. The interactions between the MC, ML, and their child are incredibly heartwarming.
While some reviews criticize the MC, I assure you, he isn't your typical one-dimensional protagonist. Initially, due to his vulnerability and limitations, he may seem useless, but as the story progresses, he matures rapidly and becomes proactive. He earns respect, becomes a renowned doctor, supports his loved ones, saves his tribe from an outbreak, and even saves the ML's life multiple times. So, don't let harsh opinions sway you.
His character isn't a victim, but rather a survivor. The author throws numerous challenges at him, causing him to experience hardships and depression, but he perseveres. His character is refreshingly human, with both flaws and redeeming qualities that make him relatable. Overall, he embodies the complexities of a real person, which I find quite compelling.

The narrative weaved a tapestry of emotions, as if stepping into a realm of one's innermost thoughts. The protagonist's transformation was both compelling and relatable, resonating deeply with my own experiences. The world of Soul Land was intricately crafted, leaving me yearning for more. A thought-provoking read that transcended the boundaries of reality, it's a literary gem that left me pondering long after the final page.
