Okay so let me just say this—Yun Shu has now fainted TWICE in this batch and I am NOT okay with it. The first time is the car accident near the restaurant, where she basically gets saved by the system (which she can't tell anyone about, obviously). Then she ends up in the hospital, Shi Muchuan makes her stay overnight like a proper attending physician, and she's all alone except for her brother and the housekeeper. Fine. Then she goes to work the next day at the music restaurant, and WHAT HAPPENS? She gets grabbed by a drunk guy, nobody helps her because they're all scared of his background, and Shi Muchuan—AGAIN—saves her and she faints for the second time. I'm starting to think the author just really loves having her collapse in front of him. Is this a trope at this point? The helpless girl who keeps passing out and the doctor who keeps catching her? It's working for me though, honestly. The plot is moving forward in a very deliberate way—each incident brings them closer together. Also, the subplot with the Yun family is interesting. They sent Yun Shu away when their real daughter Yun Shanshan came back, and the contrast between the two girls is stark. Yun Shanshan is this rude, messy, aggressive person who pushes her own mother, while Yun Shu is gentle and hardworking. The family dynamics here feel a bit one-dimensional on the surface, but I'm curious how Yun Shanshan will develop. Is she just a villain for the sake of being a villain, or will there be more to her? The restaurant harassment scene was genuinely tense though. The fact that nobody in the restaurant helped her—because the guy is apparently a local bully—added a real sense of danger. And then Shi Muchuan just appearing out of nowhere to punch the guy and do CPR? Iconic. I'm invested.
Hi, why can't we have more chapters of this book? Reading few chapters per day is not on, we have to wait 24 hours for few chapters again. Please do something.

I love this story so much
'The Shen Simo depicted in Lu HuaiChuan's writings was vastly different from her real self. In his illustrations, her brows were furrowed with a melancholic expression, like a blooming flower on the verge of withering.' I need to just sit with that sentence for a moment because it hit me so hard. Here's this guy who can't physically stand, who's been relegated to a wheelchair by circumstances, and yet he sees her—really sees her—in a way that no one else in this story seems to. He drew her leaning against a doorframe, watching him with that girl, and he captured something she doesn't even show to her camera. That's intimate in a way that has nothing to do with romance and everything to do with being truly perceived. And then he says 'see you tonight' and she's internally panicking because she thinks he knows about her secret streaming identity, but what if—just what if—he already knows something deeper about her that she hasn't even admitted to herself? The tension between them isn't just romantic; it's this whole layer of unspoken recognition. She's bringing him grilled cold noodles from a street vendor because the owner is from her hometown and promised it tastes like home. That detail destroyed me. She's surviving in Shanghai, barely scraping by, sending money home, working twelve-hour shoots, and the most tender thing she can offer this man is street food from her childhood. And he receives it like it's something precious. I'm not okay with how much I care about this.
