This is surely a set up because explain to me how Sia ended up in Nicholas room.
Nice book. Off to a great start. Can't wait to see, Mia and Gabriel's love thrive. I love Gabriel's attitude.
I feel bad for Emily. Head up girl .... Tough time doesn't last, tough people do.

So addicting.
This has to be one of the best books I’ve ever read. Great job, bravo, kudos, author.
Love this masterpiece.
Very well written. Author kept up with novel and respected her readers. Fantastic storyline with lots of a twists and turns!!
I need to talk about the setting in these chapters because the author is doing something really clever with the spaces. When Luo Qingwu first arrives at the main courtyard at dawn, the atmosphere is already heavy — Luo Yuandao in his official robes, the stern expression, the immediate disdain. You can feel the coldness of that space, how unwelcome she is just by existing in it. But then — Yunxi-Yuan. Oh, the contrast! "With pavilions, terraces, towers, and lush flowers and trees, it was countless times better than her drafty, dilapidated courtyard." On the surface, this is a reward, a promotion. But read between the lines and it's something else entirely. "However, as Luo Qingwu looked at the towering courtyard walls and the bustling maids and servants coming and going, she felt a bit troubled. This place was too close to the main courtyard, with too many eyes around." That's the moment the scene flips. What looks like luxury is actually surveillance. The towering walls that should provide privacy instead create a cage. The bustling servants who should be helpful are really watchers. The author is using the physical space to tell us exactly what's happening — Luo Qingwu has traded one prison for a fancier one. And her old courtyard? She actually misses it. "Her old, rundown courtyard had been much more comfortable." Because at least there, she had space to breathe, space to plot, space to set up her distillation apparatus without eleven pairs of eyes watching. The visual of her single wooden chest — "her belongings were so meager that they couldn't even compare to those of a second-class maid" — sitting in that opulent new courtyard is such a powerful image. She owns almost nothing, yet she's the one holding the power in this house.
Hope tge authir not make the story very longciz very long dtory can make the readers bored
Starts out great with excellent potential- I kept waiting for the climax - just continual different stories - decent story but not one that’s makes me want to reread it again- definitely not hot and steamy - get that out your mind.
