If any new readers come by; Use this review as a chance to ask any and all questions related to the story. Here are some things you can expect-Romance is present, but it is not the main focus. Instead, the story is more about the strong bonds of loyalty and understanding that develop between characters as they face chaos. This can lead to meaningful relationships that grow naturally, rather than forced or over dramatic. My goal is real relationships•The story is centered on Elias Kael, a chef after hanging up his dreams, who is trying his best to navigate a world in chaos. He's not a natural hero, but he has a strong moral compass and is determined to honor his father's legacy, which makes him relatable since he's often overwhelmed, but never quits. His story is strongly about redemption and second chances at life without the isekai trope. He gets a chance to impact his world and learn about where things went wrong•There's a diverse cast of supporting characters, each with their own dynamics: Elara, a strong military commander with a hidden past and a special connection with Elias; Geras, a figure from Elias’s past who acts like he wants to help but has a hidden agenda; Kikaru, a driven and powerful shard-bearer focused on training; Tid Well, a laid-back shard-bearer who challenges the rules; and Marcus, a tech expert who is always ready with information. and so many more; so everyone will have a chance to have a favorite character•The plot is a fast-paced mix of action, mystery, Adventure with a touch of science fiction. You'll find everything from alien invasions and government secrets to ethical issues surrounding the power of the shards. Expect plenty of twists and turns as the characters navigate a world on the brink of chaos, and many intense combat scenes balanced with character moments.•A unique part of the story is the Ikonas(my favorite part btw) , which are tiny creatures that enhance the powers of the shard-bearers. Each one is different, and the interactions between the characters and their Ikonas add a lot of depth to the story.
Shameless Author review is here. One thing i want to say is if you like insane mc then you are at best place. The new chapters will be amazing. First few chapters might seem slow paced but after 10 chapters you will get to enjoy peak.Op MC , Big Harem, Detailed Fight Scene with Smut Scene. What you need more.Ask any question.
I'm amazed how the author gets his inspiration comes from ...pretty like this one, maybe a little more push will do more.... Thank you auhor
Seamless storytelling got me drawn instantly with its engrossing narrative description. I further hope I'll get to see more of what mystery lies within the main character's ambiguous nightmare that keeps on disturbing her. That is to say, surely our author would be able to enthrall us more of what’s going to happen next.
Interesting book right here, I heavily recommend it. Read all the available chapters in less than hour, so interesting couldn’t stop for a second. It’s well written and the world building is done well. Trust you won’t regret reading these book.
Pretty good novel so far, I am really interested by the plot. It's kinda unique. The power system is a bit boring though. The author should also cut back on the exposition
Jumping on the wagon of Thick Skinned self-reviews.Unlike similar novels this one takes on the approach of 'The End does NOT Justify the Means', I'm trying to be a bit vague about this so that I don't spoil anything, but for those who read it you'll most likely understand.
Wonderful novel just hoping this novel doesn't get dropped. Please keep uploading chapters.
overall characters are fine but the chapters are too short
nice starting has some potential. i like the mc's mindset and his evilness
I would like to see further development with more specific characters but other then that I have no complaints, the flow is iffy at first but it picks up.
There's 3 factors here that made the review 3.4. Firstly the story development, followed by the character design and world background. The introduction for the opening chapter was not that great of a start. I was expecting something to happen as he got into the woods but the author made it look very ordinary. Atleast put some stray animals there or something that could intrigue your readers. In concludsion, it was very normal, just a kid with superhuman strength. Some dialogue flows unnaturally. Most scenes was rushed. The cuts per chapter needs a lot of improvement. Character design, there was nothing unique, plain and simple. World background... this is the most lacking. The story can be waited out for about 20-30 more chapters before the final verdict.
