This novel actually features the kind of couple I prefer - one built on mutual respect and effective communication, rather than constant drama and misunderstandings. Despite facing numerous challenges like accidents and kidnappings, which could potentially make the plot repetitive, the characters' relationship evolves beautifully over time. Yes, there are moments when the female lead's actions may seem unrealistic or clichéd due to drug usage, but the novel offers satisfying moments as well, like when the antagonist's comeuppance serves justice.
The female lead displays genuine love for the male lead, willing to go to extreme lengths, like risking her life to save him, even if it results in a long coma. Her growth as a character is commendable in this genre. On the other hand, the male lead, initially portrayed as aloof, gradually reveals his deep care and affection for his wife. A turning point occurs when he回忆起 his past life and fears for her safety, leading to a divorce. However, he surprises her with a heartfelt gesture like secretly baking her birthday cakes despite her emotional state.
The sacrifices they both make form the foundation of their ideal relationship, in my opinion. If you're interested, you can read the novel on Webnovel or search for it under the title "Young Master Mo, Are You Done Kissing?" I stopped after around 700 chapters, feeling it provided a satisfactory conclusion (though I admit, 1000+ chapters might be a bit overwhelming).
The story continues beyond that point, focusing on their family life, including the birth of their twin children – a boy and a girl – which adds an unexpected twist. Overall, I believe this novel showcases a well-developed, imperfect yet committed couple, deserving a solid 5-star rating.

This is the third novel I ever read after LotM and tLM and I fkn loved it.
Too bad that its ranking was somewhere 400 at best.
Oh the nostalgia this was one of the first novels i read back in 2020 now im definitely gonna go back and read this and the other novels
