I really loved this book when reading it but after a while I just got really tired, the fl couldn’t even have any say when talking to the ml, she was just like an obsessed fan who agreed to everything he said and did, she kept getting hurt by her Mum and elder sister but her only solution was a tactical retreat in order to look forward to the future. The book went into so much details which not even necessary in my opinion. If you are looking for something long, mildly interesting then this book of for you, if not, you’ll certainly get bored after a while. Just my own two cents.

1442 i believe is the last chapter..this novel is done.....slightly sad ending.....but ,this is one of the far better novels i have read in a long time....romance was just right as was the action and tense moments..some might complain about the Harem,but at least the MC stood for principles and didn't go overboard.
The writer of this novel seems like he did not plan this novel to become a harem. But that is how he ended it up. He created an MC who is devoted to his first love only to fall in love with 2 more females after sleeping with them. It was kind of romantic at first until it became a harem. There is no romantic side in a harem themed novel at least for me anyway. But the author seems like he is still trying to make it as romantic like there are only 2 people involve in the relationship. These Chinese writers are really affected by the shortage of women due to the one child policy. They can't seem to let go of the first major female characters like the the MC won't meet anymore women in their journey. And the result is the novel becomes harem themed. It took close to a thousand chapters to get the harem theme going. This is also a reincarnation theme novel and he was murdered by his wife on the first night of their wedding. He reincarnated and formed a harem. You'd think he has learned to create casual relationship after such experience.
Storyline can be improved but translater and proof reader job was done shabbily. Every chapter was not translated properly. If this is just word by word translation, MTL is more than enough to replace human.
This was just okay. I enjoyed some of it but not all. The reason being is his revenge. Although his own naive choices left him to being used. His revenge was ruthless and unnecessary. His younger brother might have been bad, but if Shu Ning took it upon himself to raise him properly, it's possible that the events may have never played out in the end. It's like his grudge was irrational. Butit was a cute love story at least but it could've been better.
