They were in Lucas's home as tomorrow was Mark's birthday and they were discussing about it. Mark wasn't there yet and Mia went to put Annie in bed.
"Sir, you should not be showing up drunk to your classes. You are afterall a part of the upper echelon of this..." The righteous and upright student was about to finsish his scolding when he was harshly interupted by a malicious voice.
"We haven't seen him. "
"Sweetheart, I know, you aren't ready for another relationship. But, we are married now. At least allow me to show you how much I treasure you."
He knew he should sleep soon, but he wasn't ready for the rest yet. His mind was occupied with thoughts that made him restless. Nevermind the fact that the bandits might still be lurking around, searching for them. Since he couldn't sleep, he decided to keep the fire alive. Ayne must have worked hard. She made beds and gathered some food for them, after all. As Varren fed another piece of wood to the starving flame, he heard a subtle noise. It was a sneeze coming from Ayne's side of the cave. Worried that she might catch a cold, Varren grabbed his coat and sheltered Ayne from the cold. He'll be alright, but she's a kid from a pampered household.
Shirohime didn't even bother moving from her position as she did just that and in fact, she didn't care at all...
The music suddenly switched from the heavy bass driven beat of before to a soft angelic harp, announcing the entrance of a bar that appeared out of nowhere; falling in front of her like a lifeline from the heavens.
"Demon dog will be on the loose soon"
This horrendously humiliating compromise had the people calling her "The Abandoned Princess." As her wedding day grew closer, the more bitter and angry she felt. It was as though her insecurities that she had pushed away before slowly sinking their claws into her body. From way back when, she had always been compared to the lovely Da Ai. From her looks, demeanor, and even talent, Da Ai was better than her, but she had never fully addressed it. It wasn't till now that she could see it, and how much Da Ai was silently mocking her for being incompetent. This was the straw that broke the camel's back.
First of all the translation quality is good but this novel does not deserve even one star let alone more by piggy backing off of that portion of the rating.I don't even know where to being on describing how horrendous this piece of used toilet paper with words on it is. Imagine the most horribly written over the top wish fulfillment garbage novel you could ever imagine. I'm talking like walk down the street and ninjas attack beautiful women out of nowhere around you where you fend them off with your little toe then sleep with the ladies afterwards while getting calls from world leaders asking you how to do everything because they can't figure it out and everyone bows down for no reason whatsoever. Imagine that then realize that compared to this novel that sh*t is literary gold. Compared to this garbage that is like the culmination of every great work ever rolled up into the most perfectly written tale ever conceived. This is also one of the most ***ist pieces of tripe I have ever experienced. If you care about your mother, sister, daughter, aunt or anyone else of the female persuasion at all you should learn where this author lives then stay away from there because he is probably a sexual predator.Unless you hate women, are a prepubescent boy and have an IQ under 5 you should stay away from this novel. Reading it will haunt you forever and cause you to wake up in cold sweats from the terror you will experience at realizing just how inept the human imagination can be.
What the actual frick was the ending? THE most rushed ending I have ever read. it's basically about 4/5's of the way through the story arc and it just wraps its self up in about 5 chapters. It's like the author had 15 minutes to live and wanted his book done before he died. Other than the story being garbage the characters are painfully mediocre and become cardboard cutouts about halfway through. The world building is a huge missed opportunity as to begin with it has a great premise but utterly fails to be unique or interesting and falls into the trap of generic "lower level world -> higher level world -> even higher level world".The translation quality is pretty great for this website, which while not saying very much, is nice. With the book being complete the stability of updates is automatically perfect.Translation quality: 8/10Stability of Updates: 10/10Story Development: 1/10Character Design: 2/10World Background: 3/10Overall: 4.8/10 (Dragged up heavily by Stability of Updates and Translation Quality)I wouldn't recommend. What a shame.
How can something written by someone as great as me not be a 5 star? Preposterous!..... Alright, let's put the cringe aside and get down to business. So, ABAT is my first novel and it's likely you will be seeing grammar and other kinds of mistakes here and there.I have tried my best to minimize the amount of mistakes, but it's not practical to completely remove the man as it can make the reading experience a bit bland since I will have to tone down the writing quality by quite a bit, so I hope you guys will go easy on me regarding writing mistakes.Coming to the book itself, and I will admit that I have chosen a rather generic topic but I can't really help is since I don't have any already established audience so I have to go for something trending in order to gather one.But trust me,the book have it's own unique appeal and you will notice it in the first few chapters. At the end of the day, if you want an OP and sensible MC, solid world background, good side characters with a tint of romance added to the mix, then you should give it a read. Also, I will say it now but MC will not necessarily be ruthless. You will see it in the novel his own perspective of such. I will make more comments in the future and be more constant with updates as the novel progresses in content and popularity. Have a nice day!
