If this doesn't remind you of "My Vampire System" you must be crazy even the start is basically like a copy (in a good way). Its kinda funny 5 star.
Was looking forward to the System vs MC dynamic but that basically disappears by chapter 100. It only shows up randomly to annoy the MC. Progress basically turns into generic cultivation but is lock stepped by the system. Power progressions feels completely forced and only serves to let MC fight stronger enemies. This is especially true when his friends also start progressing like xianxia MCs.
Humor is mostly low brow and 90% of the jokes don't work, and serves to make the MC look retarded. The author also makes the MC retarded for that matter. I guess it feeds back into the low brow humor and gives it a reason to exist.
Story isn't cohesive. Feels like most chapters are just filler of go here, get item/inheritance, but item/inheritance doesn't really matter because system will randomly give a new overpowered skill. Character and world development is underwhelming. I can't even form an idea of what clothes the characters are wearing beyond generic ancient Chinese clothing.
Tl:dr Original premise is basically given up for filler chapters of meaningless events of low brow humor. Arbitrary power progression introduces new enemies and events to recycle filler. Character development, world building, etc takes a backseat to the above.
this story had a lot of potential but it seems the author is writing it wrong. the author seems to not have planned out the story and just keeps adding whatever he wants even though it ruins the story he set at the start. *SPOILER* for example, he first describes the female MC as a helpless person but later says how she would have been able to defend herself. its really inconsistent and ruins the flow of the story. as for how to fix it, it seems the only way is to start the story again.
For everyone saying there netorare there is none for a person who originally read this years ago n royal road there is none there is a girl who vying for the affection of the main character even though he is solely devoted to his wife and so the infidelity part come from that it not large but its their netorare isn't always the hentai equivalent it just mean infidelity but it been years since I read it so I dotn remember if they actually do the deed the books is great and I enjoyed it all those years ago to bad the guy start slowing down on updates and other projects so I stopped reading it I think it was my first major reed on royal road so good luck man happy to see you bacl

When I saw this book I wanted to read it and this book is good but I think it needs some pictures so we can see the characters and the monsters.
I'll give you a 5 star rating. It's like I'm watching a movie rather than reading it. of course, if you have great imagination ?. so interesting and you would be very curious as to whom and how. keep it up writer
Science Fiction will surely give you the fantasy and action thrills. This one is a perfect combination of that mixup. Not to mention the mystery that revolves around the characters!
