Extending further the background from the introduction blurb, the story is definitely of a side character /mob character trope. The protagonist, Wei Zhiruo is a complete newbie, when it comes to cultivation. She doesn't even know what cultivating to become immortal means. Along with looking out for complete culture shocks, she has to navigate with other people continuously infringing on her life. She never intends to be part of the story, but how can that be? She definitely has all the power, intellect to see what is going on, and enough compassion to not just go past the atrocity (coming plot point) blindly. I am defending her, but the position she has inherited is definitely something that will never allow her to remain a silent bystander.
Its good the dialogs the characters and the scenes are executed nicely, the power system is kinda new like the word essentia its like they are mutants or they all have one special abilities the naming sense is also good , it's a really good read. Keep it up Author. Im rooting for you.

"Ifritz!" my Mother shouted.

And I thought that MICHAEL was finally killed in my dream...I called Michael and said him about my dream and he said to meet him tomorrow.
As I slowed down, i realised I was almost at the outskirts of the suburbs. Matter of time before dusk broke into night. Not that i am afraid of the dark, but that if I down due to exhaustion, I needed to ensure of having a roof above my head. I stopped at the next bus stop and took a bus into the city. I feel safe in the bus. Safer and confident than i felt in the past few days.
And all that glitters is gold
