This author has this book on a different reading platform and it shows completed. However, that book ends on a “to be continued” with no answers to any questions from the book. There has been no update or sequel in over a year

Great book, but final could be more elaborated
Well, I won't be giving it a rating because I don't particularly enjoy its tone, but I'll still provide a review. For those who are religious, this light novel might not be your cup of tea. It frequently criticizes gods and religion, championing science and human progress. It's not just about personal beliefs clashing; the author clearly uses the "religion impedes science" trope.
Moving on from that, the story itself is nothing extraordinary and has a rapid pace. The introduction of characters feels rushed – the first girl barely makes an appearance before the next one springs up! We barely got to meet the MC's parents before he left his village, and they're unlikely to reappear later in the narrative. They're practically anonymous, referred to only as "mom and dad."
The fast-paced nature and generic setting contribute to weak world-building. Surprisingly, given the length of raw novels (which usually run long), by chapter 20, the MC is already clashing with the fire god. Since the MC is also a god, character development might lean towards a clichéd Gary Stu, even in human relationships.
In summary, this is a rather lightweight novel, suitable for casual reading and particularly for those who enjoy anti-religious narratives.
Whenever I come across a strange name, I shorten it... Mel the MC is transported into a ducal family, possibly after dying from "truck kun"... though I'm not entirely sure yet, lol.
From the beginning, the stage is set for our unloved Villainess/Korean body snatcher. A manipulative, murderous stepmother and her promiscuous daughter enter the scene, continually undermining and ruining any chances our Villainess has of gaining favor. Despite her manipulative fiancé sniffing around her promiscuous stepsister (the term sounds like an STI, lol), our Villainess is already labeled as the evil one.
The original Mel was subjected to cruel rumors due to her mother's heritage—something about a curse she apparently inherited. This curse supposedly shortens her life expectancy. In the original story, the Villainess received a helping hand, courtesy of the promiscuous stepmom.
Her father is the typical inattentive type, unwilling to protect his daughter. As a result, due to our Korean body snatcher’s previous life knowledge, she realizes that her demise is certain if she stays in that household. She begins to set in motion events that will lead to her being kicked out of the family. With the money thrown at her by her indifferent father, she embarks on a journey—not too far away—to start a business selling junk food and stationery.
I fell in love with her after she gave everyone the finger... yes, Queen fk them all!!! The question I have, though... why would anyone want to marry a cursed person? Shrug...
