And then there's the half-brother subplot simmering underneath. Zuo Le, the guy who sent those three knife-wielding thugs, whose backgrounds were 'terrifyingly clean'—meaning they were professionals, paid hands. Lin Feng immediately pivots to analyzing this, and you can see his reborn experience kicking in. He's not just some hot teenage boy anymore; he's reading the board like a veteran.
