This is a well written novel that i would recommend to anyone looking for very likeable characters and good writing quality. the story is fun so far as the mc try to know the world around him and develop his own skills. its an enjoyable read, you wont be disappointed.

I am not really one for game themed books as such but I do love games and this is a really fun book to read. Lots of action and very well built up

Really good novel, but the MC destroy it for me a bit.This is just personal preference but I don't like overly kind MC, those that dont have even a bit of selfishness. It's just abnormal and unsatisfying for me to read, like if the main scope and more effort is done to help the NPCs instead of just focusing on getting stronger (if for example exterminating a village would give a bonus and a good achievement, I bet the MC would never do it, because he cares too much about the NPC like real people), which is usually the goal in video games novels. It just doesnt feel like a video game, but just a strange isekai. NPCs super realism is good, but when it's so good that people start to treat them like real peoplr than it becomes bad in my opinion, it start to get away from the video games genre and becomes a isekai-system novel.The novel is fresh and a new type of concept different from usual, I get it, but that doesnt change that it cant be bad because of it.This is just my preference tho since I dont like hero-saves-everyone type of MCs, I am more into the neutral-kind that focuses on their goal primarily.To quote another review on another problem:"I categorically disagree with how the author manages the knowledge of the main character, similar to the fantasies of a little girl from a wealthy family about the structure of the world order. Of the 500,000 or 50,000 (I did not understand) players... the author believes that there are no maniacs, killers, rapists, ganibals, crazy ones. The translation is so bad and the story/plot let's just say it's like a BIG FAT "CIRCLE" i read the whole novel till chap. 300 and i thought to my self that this isn't worth it. If you guys like were the author makes an item/pet/companion then later in the chap. he forget it. then this is for you good luck

The opening scene of this batch is one of those moments where the setting does so much storytelling without saying a word. Qin Xiao renting a donkey cart because there's simply too much to carry—it immediately tells us this isn't a normal shopping trip. This is a man building a life, and he's going all out. The villagers on the ox cart noticing the brand-new cotton quilts and the red silk gauze? That single detail—the silk—carries so much weight in this world. Most families stuff their bedding with reed flowers to save money. A bolt of silk gauze is something only wealthy city ladies afford. The fact that Qin Xiao bought it for his newly married wife, and that the villagers immediately notice and gossip? That's worldbuilding through community observation. The back mountain path, the fork in the road near the village center, Madam Qin sitting under the grapevine trellis sorting soybeans—these details ground us in a specific, lived-in rural world. And the courtyard of the family's brick-and-tile house versus Qin Xiao's run-down courtyard near the back mountain? That physical separation is symbolic of everything: the emotional distance, the different values, the two paths his life could have taken. The confrontation scene at the fork in the road is almost cinematic. A crowd gathering from every direction, Madam Qin performing for an audience, Qin Xiao standing between his mother and his wife. The author paints this like a film—wide shots of the villagers in groups, close-ups of the silk gauze, the toothbrush, the handprint on Qinghe's cheek. Every visual detail serves the emotional truth of the scene.
It's the same as any other. nothing original. Idiot MC, shocked audience, MC is so cool and indifferent and sexy, everyone else ugly or loyal . wowwww.Uninspired.
Genre is Paranormal. Have yet to touch on the romance bit but author says there is one.Anyway, this is a novel that takes a lot of getting used to. English isn't my first language, and I suspect it isn't Author's one as well. It's not the grammatical errors that get to me but rather, it's the way that the Author phrases things.The structure of the sentences takes a lot of getting used to, and one would need to decipher what is truly being said. I guess that gives it the more 'paranormal' bit more paranormal. /hehI find the characters extremely likeable and I love the way the story unfolds as to his development. The pace is very slow and full of 'you will know later' which, quite frankly, is quite irritating after a while. I wonder why the MC hasn't freaked out yet each time someone says it to him. He's a much better and stronger person than I'll ever be - and I'm talking about character wise, not physical strength. I mean, come one. He's in the middle of the greatest plot EVER and no one tells him anything yet he doesn't throw a tantrum. Whoa.Anyway, I do love the story and what twists and turns it holds. If you have the patience to adapt to the Author's writing style, you won't be disappointed in reading on. It gets much better (storywise and plot) as you read more chapters.All the best, Author!
