I am so excited to read this book. Believe me, I read all your books in the app several times, even recently 14 days to forever, not to mention that Kari is my favorite Omega character, and I am in love in Milan. But about this book,i can't stop reading. I am excited for the journey ahead of me.

This is good. I absolutely love this book ...️...
The story revolves around a sword growing stronger through battle. The characters lack chemistry, and there’s a typical Japanese protagonist with occasional cooking segments to fill in the gaps. However, when the female lead is a 12-year-old, it’s hard to expect mature or engaging dialogue.
Still, I’ve enjoyed the story so far because I’m curious just how much more powerful the sword will become. That’s what keeps me reading. As for the rest, I don’t expect anything beyond typical Japanese antics.
I'm halfway through, but I just had to log in and leave a quick review, hahaha. One of the lawyer-type stories I loved was "Don't Fall in Love with the Boss," so it's no wonder I adored this one since it's by the same author. I'd even say this one is an improvement, but I love both very much.
I really enjoyed Qi Xi's character development. Watching her fall for Gu Yan made me swoon for him too (unfortunately, he's not real, right?). What can I say... Qi Xi is incredibly dense despite being intelligent, but who can blame her when Gu Yan keeps things so ambiguous?
Compared to the author's other works, I'd say this one is less cringe (fewer moments of second-hand embarrassment and less cheesiness), more comedic, and more romantic. There were so many genuinely funny moments, like the scene where they eat durian together. The scenes of them riding a bike while discussing life and love, despite being in suits, felt very romantic. They acted less like rivals and more like cats and dogs, constantly pulling at each other. Qi Xi constantly tries to get closer to Gu Yan—each attempt seems to fail, or does it?

I was a bit unsatisfied with the ending. It felt like there might be more, and the ending left me hanging. The proposal also felt like a joke and seemed too cheesy.
