I never thought that it would be translated again after being droped the first time. I relly loved its unique plot and i found the relationship between charachters to be intresting and lifelike.
I love the story, are they going to continue translating it. I really hope so. The wtiting is really well done that isn’t many stories as nice as this one.
I'll start off by saying that I only read 5 of the 40 chapters. So take this review with a grain of salt. For all I know, this becomes a good story later on. The premise is what drove me to read this in the first place. But the constant mentioning of his double degree, the cliches (specifically the needlessly antagonistic characters, the stone ring, etc), and the part saying how the thunder damaged the TVs, phones, and routers tilted me. The last one could've been a translation issue and not an issue on the author's part (which some will say is me being nitpicky, but translation issues spell disaster for anything translated and if it was the author's mistake then I run the risk of being annoyed later on). Not to mention the two reviews I read from R00ks and Reading_immortal. But all of those things were enough for me to drop it at this point in time. Maybe I'm being overly critical due to the last few stories I reread being great (Throne of Magical Arcana and Lord of the Mysteries). Don't get me wrong though, this story will appeal to some people and might actually be a good casual read. But I don't have enough time in the day to read stories that I have a good likelihood to drop in the future. If anyone wants my rationale on my 3 star rating. It's not bad enough to be a 1 (a writing abomination), not great enough to be a 5 (a writing masterpiece). It doesn't compare to stories I would personally rate a 4. And the premise alone gives it another star in my opinion, hence a 3.
I love the whole theme. Thank you Author-san for everything and bring us this visual gem for the enjoyment of almost everyone. I love this novel❤❤❤
To be honest, once I saw the title I labeled it as one of those transmigration young person with cheats, but once I saw the synopsis where the protagonist gets old? Interesting indeed . . . with a system too . . .
I've read the first few chapters and I got to tell you all that the high rating of this novel is not as high as the quality of the novel itself. This must be the author's first novel, so I don't blame him for it being so bad!! anyway, here are some tips to the author-the mc has zero background and is supposed to five years old, yet sometimes he's smart and other times he's childish as ****.the side character are not well written either.there is no world building and we are introduced to the big shot characters in the first few chapters.there are many other mistakes that I didn't mention that also need to be fixed, but I don't have the time to list them all.
Okay, I read 4 chapters and I got bamboozled by my own brain. I thought it was a novel about the mc studying 'monsters' like in goblins or ogres. So, I thought it was okay, but it's just the mc getting smarter.Don't get me wrong, the characters are interesting and nice, the difference is clear, although some might be very disturbing (that's why the 4* stars for it) The novel self is nice, world background is just a modern world obviously. Story development is something I cannot explain because I only 4 chapters but it's interesting, definitely recommend it.But, okay, that's my review, I hope other people won't also get bamboozled by the title of the novel like me.
This is a comedic story. The MC is a well renowned scholar (although he seems to not really recognise just how good he actually is). He has been rejected from the cultivation world because of his apparent crappy potential. He joins a sect in debt and is fooled into believing that it is better than it actually is. Although he is a transmigrator who has read his fair share of novels, he clearly doesn't understand how amazing his learning abilities are (although it could be because he's comparing himself to 'true geniuses'). Furthermore, it seems he would have been able to become a cultivator anyway if he just kept on being a scholar for just a little bit longer. But who cares about that? He's the disciple of an 'amazing' sect now!The sect leader at least tries to treat the MC well. Maybe because of a little bit of guilt.Anyway, the novel isn't too bad. Better than the utter rubbish you see every now and then. If there aren't any other novels you really want to see picked, then this novel isn't a bad choice.
Ok, I have to admit I haven't read the story yet. However, just looking at the synopsis gives me an overwhelming urge to rate this a 5. I can't help it, the story's synopsis gives me an idea of how unique and how much potential this novel has.
