Most of it revolves around streaming, which, in this case, follows the same old trope of onlookers (in chat) mocking the main character before and praising him after a significant move, while explaining some details of the fight. The author tries to portray the main character as smart and cunning, but he mostly relies on brute force or simple streaming tricks:
- Choosing a physically resistant boss for suspense while his damage-dealing summon has poisoned blades.
- Using summons to clear traps, which seems novel only because everyone else’s summons either cost money or have long cooldowns.
I hung in there until the end of the second dungeon, hoping for a change, but unfortunately, it remained the same. I gave it an extra star because this might be what the streaming theme is about, and since I haven’t read much of it, I’ll settle for 2 stars.

The narrative is heartwarming, but to truly appreciate its sweetness, one must momentarily suspend logic. Having read numerous plotting and reincarnation novels, including ancient tales, I can't help but ponder a few points:
1. If ML was a mastermind in his former life, how could FL, despite perceiving him as harmless now, not consider the possibility that his current demeanor might be an act? She should've been more cautious given his past reputation.
2. Giving him spicy food to test him seems like a childish method, rather than a serious assessment of his true nature.
3. As a general's daughter, FL's kindness is commendable, but expecting someone to genuinely change for the better after avoiding anger merely because of spicy food is unrealistic. It's implausible that he wouldn't fake it.
4. Sewing boots for ML is another illogical action from a noblewoman, especially considering the potential gossip it could generate. A servant, male or not, deserves more plausible displays of affection.
While the story's sweetness is enjoyable when logic is set aside, I prefer novels with deeper intrigue. This one felt too simple, almost like a sugar-coated treat with no intellectual challenge. I deducted one star for the lack of substance, acknowledging that it caters more to those who appreciate simpler fare.
Give the book a try if you're looking for a light-hearted, yandere-centric romance. The characters may be sweet and tragic, but the plot isn't particularly complex. The requirement for a tragic past to qualify as a yandere seems a bit clichéd.
