I see that this novel got way more ratings than it deserved. Even if every reader is a weeb. I didn't even reach where MC creates his harem. I just plain find the novel boring. The world is game when author wants it to be, a real life on a whim. I don't mind the cliches, or even the lack of proper explanation of world. But treating readers like fat cows for milk when feeding ****? Give some exposition. It's not a movie, it's a book. From the guy that read till 15-20 chapters. No don't say read further to really enjoy.
just found this book recently and it's been an enjoyable read. MC's not an idiot and even when his new family thinks he won't be talented they still care about him and try to help him out as much as they can. plus the cheats he has gotten so far are pretty sweet.?

I have a divine tree up my ass!That's the only way to describe this novel.Author constantly strokes China's elongated schlongus maximus like it's his life throughout the trail chapters. Apparently it's a whole nationalism novel + savior systemAtleast in Earthlings are Insane, it was more Earth nationalism than Chinese nationalism, which I can bare. MC needs to "contribute" in order to gain potential strength. Yay.This is all just a pain in the ass, hence the first sentence of this review.
This novel has a serious case of word-count-itis. The author wastes so incredibly much time on useless nonsense just to make the story longer. It felt like it would be a faster story at first, with the various time skips, but nearly every "event" within the story is just a waste of space. Not to mention that the in-world logic is just nonsensical, and the author pretty much just does whatever he wants with no regard for making the plot seem natural or realistic. Very surprised so many people 5 starred this and is recommending it as one of the best current xianxia novels. To me, it's very low quality writing.

I get a very God of Slaughter vibe from this story. I really enjoy reading it and I would say this a good story for those who are big readers like myself but have a relaxed opinion and more just enjoy reading. I'm sure the hard core "expert" readers have negative things to say, but I'm just an average Joe, not a professional critic.
