Based on the title and description, I didn't anticipate a challenging journey, and the comedy tag was quite misleading, unfortunately. The story turns out to be about a second chance for both the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML). In their previous life, I felt immense sympathy for ML, as the narrative delved into their first love, their unacknowledged acts of protection, and the profound regret that shaped their existence. The missed opportunities and deceit they faced led them to what they call their "abyss." Despite their eventual marriages and families, I initially disliked the MC due to his indecisiveness, but I've come to understand and tolerate it.
I had considered resuming this a few months ago, but after reading additional reviews, my concerns aligned with theirs. The initial part was decent, but I couldn't help having doubts about the portrayal of multiple personalities. Since I lack expertise on the topic, I chalked it up to an unconvincing narrative. As I progressed, I became increasingly uneasy with the author's bias towards one personality over the others. It's difficult for me to judge without fully understanding her situation or empathizing, but the dynamic between the characters started to make me uncomfortable. I don't fault her for developing feelings, but it's disheartening to see the main character lose confidence and cling to imitating the favored personality rather than working on self-improvement. Frankly, I'm not fond of this direction the story is taking.
I tried giving this another go since I had nothing else to read. And after reading just a few chapters the mc's arrogance just soared through the sky. I can get behind the fact that he never actually tried hard enough to get stronger even though he was in a desperate situation with his mother being sick and his father being missing and all. But right when he saw a tiny little bit of progress he literally went ahead and said " I am someone even the heavens must look up to. How dare I be controlled by a mere beast instinct". After reading that I just gently closed my eyes and the only word that was screaming through my mind was cringe. It makes me wonder are these authors a different breed than us? Just why? I don't know if anyone will agree with me or not but I feel like the one thing that you must make sure if you want any story to be successful is by making a good main character. But the author failed in that miserably. PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME IF I SHOULD STILL CONTINUE.
Sorry, but if you didn't read the whole paragraph, you wouldn't understand it anyway. Since I am discussing the scenario after the novel ending
Hey can u please tell me or give a estimate of how many chapters till it gets completed.I have been waiting for a year for the mtl version to be completed so I would be very grateful if you can answer that question.
It's mid, no question about it. But it's not true poison so it's readable, just mild discomfort as you try to read it.
i read the last chapter and she still chose to be a martyr... not going to read. I hate people who forgives but still choose to stays at a toxic relationship. then cry on their pillow for the pain they're in. ?
Already hooked!, Dear author you just gained a reader,
This is Wonderful!?
I love this, I’m sad that it’s only just started. I want to binge tf out of this. There’s only one novel I use coins for, but I had to for this one too. I do not have privilege but I am caught up other than that. The main character is funny and definitely unique. There’s a bit of weird world building that feels unnecessary currently, but maybe it will become important later on. Also, I didn’t look at whether or not this had the harem tag, but my favorite girl is losing screen time :( She did so much for him. I’m excited at where the author plans on taking this. From what I can tell, based on the power curve it seems like it might cap out around 200 chapters of actual content, but the author may have different plans. I also expect at least 100 chapters of 18+ content, based on what has been put out so far. Looking forward to what else there is to come.
It’s an amazing book so far and it’s really interesting book with amazing details and is great to read when u wanna ignore everything else
