After hitting 800 Chapters, i must say that JY is the funniest MC without a system/ cheat. You may not like him at start but u love him as u read lol, especially when all my ego conclusions are bust by the multiple twists in this story. The low IQ is actually myself haha. The heroines in the story are so flesh out and memorable. Then i check that this author is a famous author for A Martial Odyssey that i read in 2014 lol, that brings me to cultivation stories. No wonder the romances is so good. This isnt random writing. I just love the romances in this story and have a few fave heroines.Unlike other cultivation stories, the MC dont start off as low level and the world dont have stupid clinches like this young master has a higher cultivation elder and more higher cultivaton level. It is balanced between the strong and weak from the very start. The main plot is also extremely clear and u always know the goals of the mc like a martial odyssey.
So I mean. I finished volume 1. I have very mixed feelings about this. The world, story, development, mystery are all superb. The writing quality is excellent. The update frequency is rather low but I’m just glad they are still going. Now for the negatives. It seems that every single person the MC becomes invested in emotionally or physically romantic or not just gets shipped off somewhere or dies. The first two women he liked they just moved and ghosted. The second romantic encounter he develops a strong bond and feelings with the woman for her to die in his arms. I guess I’d just like maybe one(?) partner who’s and excellently written character to not be killed off as soon as they are fully fleshed out? It’s just a downer and makes me not want to keep going because they made such interesting characters, and it would feel like a replacement or copy to have someone with a similar personality or way of talking. I’ll keep going for the 2nd volume and hope it gets better in that regard because I truly do like the story and will update my thoughts at that point here. Thank you author hope you’re well.
How many chapters do you plan to make the book, author? I don’t like too long book but I love this story, let me know if you plan to make it long before I get immersed into it.
I love it the way you kept adding you in it I was just like omg and the way yoongi and ana and rose were swearing and beating their husbands up was just funny and Jin said lucky jungkook and Tae got a C-section .
Keep it up We Liverpool are gonna rise Up!!!
Re reviewing. The plot gets better around ch 26. We get to know more about the other Nations and Lucas's background. The writing quality looks to be increased.
this is gold.worth the readthe story is quite unique for me.though the MC has a cheat but it doesn't make him OP.the story has a lot of potential, room to grow and development to make
i have to say im pleasantly surprised with this one actually seems like an interesting cultivation novel and i hope it continues and becomes a long one. author keep up the good work. on a side note I've been interested in a cultivation based MMO, mmorpg, arpg etc. anyone know any good ones
Like one of the comments have said, a book that has a system without a system. Hence, a skillionaire. A refreshing concept after going through a handful of system titles in webnovel. On the other hand, the title alone is quite funny along side with the content resides in the book. Comedy is my weakness, and the author delivered it well. Heck, even the comments were funny too which is a plus for me. Including the author and their editor's comments and bickering at the end of each chapter. (Is there gonna be amogus jokes in the book?)The writing, is very fruity and juicy due to the fact the author would often rhymed the words together which is pleasant to the eyes and a fun read. Something which is a rare find in my experience, like reading delicate words, so give it a go.The character design so far, is excellent. Even if one of them is similar to race known as 'Nekomimis' which in the book is called 'Tanomobis' BUT they are different from one another due to the fact that Tanomobis have behaviours that differentiates them from Nekomimis. An old idea which is turned into a fresh and new one, which displays that the author has the skills. Meanwhile for the mc, MF, has MF'king'ly good design and full of personality (with a clear goal too). World background, or lore, its huge as mentioned, due to the fact that the story shares the same universe with another book with a long timeline. Besides that, focussing more of solely this book's world background, it is solid from the start and more would definitely come.Overall, as a genderbender fan, I recommend it. The well mix of comedy and underlaying dark tone of world background is bitter sweet (at least for me)
The words used to describe the world and the events that take in place in it are wonderful and filled with so much fantastical whim. I really liked how much time you used to describe the city of festivities, however, I did find that many of the things that used to describe are repeated several times but are just phrased differently and could do with a trim of the excess.
all the chapters after 78 are just random letters and symbols and bits and pieces of previous chapters. not sure if my mobile app is messed up or if the author is just posting random things. prior to chapter 79 i would have given this novel 4 amd 5 stars but now i have to give it 1 stars sincr i just purchased about 30 chapters of no content.
I like the concept, but it feels poorly executed. My biggest issue with this is just how dumb the MC is. Despite having a super computer computer for a brain he still makes obvious my stakes and doesn't think ahead at all. (They also don't seem to explain his powers well. like, does he think at the speed of a computer or not? if not, he couldn't interpret the immense amount of data in every interaction. if yes, he would live incredibly slowly compared to how fast he can think, which creates a dozen more problems for his character.)His stupidity shows early on and it is breathtaking. he gets attacked by strange assailants and can't imagine who he offended to deserve this, despite having, the other day, crushed the balls of an influential young master-type bully. their conflicts were clearly stated and there's no way he shouldn't have immediately thought this was related to him, but he ignores the obvious and is clueless for a while. later, he publicly earns a big reward that others cover and takes no precautions to ensure his safety concerning it. then he gets attacked upon returning home and his sister kidnapped by people after his prize, barely surviving it. when he learned that they were here for his prize and realizes that others would likely come after it as well, my immediate thought was 'oh, I guess he'll just upload this online to solve the issue. ge doesn't need the technique anyways, as he said so, and not doing so risks more people coming. he loses nothing and ensures his safety.' I expect that was the conclusion many reached, but this idiot has no idea what to do. he has to call his friend and have him sort out his problems. it takes him ages to figure out that exact solution, but he wastes time and resources, and risks his and his sisters safety yet again before stumbling on that conclusion. I'm sure I could go back and find more examples, but I don't want to bother with this novel any longer. I'd just roll my eyes at a normal dumb MC, but this guy's superpower is to analyse things like a computer, so it's especially distracting to have him actually he a total idiot.
