To those who were stopped because of all the racism n patriotism comment, don't.
The novel itself is not bad, plus the author really does a good chunk of research. Heck, I even learned some new stuff.
Sure there's racism n patriotism here n there, but that's like not watching all the Marvel movies just because there's captain America.
Overall 6.5/10 . A combination of education and lvl up system in a nutshell
At this pace this novel will become the first 10k chapter novel on this site
Firstly, the translation was quite poor at the beginning, almost unbearable. Fortunately, it improved significantly around chapter 70. The constant name changes were confusing, making me wonder if a clone had been introduced.
During the initial five chapters, it might be disorienting for those not familiar with isekai stories. However, if you focus on the narrative and the protagonist's thoughts, you can piece together the earlier events. Unfortunately, the translation became more chaotic after chapter 40 due to frequent alterations in character aliases, names, and abilities.
Spoiler Alert:
Jaegal-Jaegol turning into Zegal Zherrgul was quite amusing, though. The player aliases were also translated inadequately, often reduced to shortened romanized versions.
Thankfully, the translations have been improved, and I appreciate that. It would be great if the translators could go back and revise earlier chapters when they have the time. The plot is intriguing and captivating, and I'd love for more readers to understand it properly. Here's a glimpse into the main character:
Spoilers Ahead:
Despite being overpowered, the protagonist genuinely wishes to alter the original destinies of his playable characters. He constantly reminds us that he's within a game, which makes me hope he can form genuine connections with them as individuals, not just as beloved characters from the game.
[End Spoiler]
The main character was unexpectedly overpowered (OP), even surpassing what I thought Goku was. Let's move on. It turned out to be more of a slice-of-life story than an adventurous one. The protagonist simply wished to travel the world, eliminating any demons that threatened their leisurely journey. Our protagonist wasn't a naive soul who would grieve or feel guilty over deaths they encountered; it was important to remember, it wasn't a tragic tale.
While the story might seem mundane at times, it's perfect for casual reading with numerous chapters to keep you engaged. The alternating perspectives provided a deeper understanding of supporting characters, which added depth to the narrative. However, some readers may take issue with aspects like a large harem primarily consisting of his slaves, explicit female characters, or the主角's overwhelming power. Despite these elements, it remains an enjoyable read, worthy of a spot on your reading list.
"Strongest Awakener: Villain's Ascent" captivated me with its compelling narrative and intricate character development. The story seamlessly blends action and intrigue, as the protagonist's journey from villain to hero is both thrilling and thought-provoking. The author's prowess in creating a vivid world and exploring moral gray areas made for a gripping read that kept me on the edge of my seat. A must-read for fans of engaging anti-hero stories.
"Worldwide Job Change: My Mana Bar Is Infinitely Long" captivates with its unique blend of adventure and relatable workplace escapades. The protagonist's magical twist on job hopping takes readers on a hilarious, yet thought-provoking journey. Its engaging narrative keeps one hooked, as the主角's boundless mana bar reflects the resilience and adaptability in today's fast-paced world. A delightful read that combines fantasy with everyday life, leaving you entertained and reflecting on career choices.
"Unparalleled Martial Prodigy 123" is an enthralling read that captivates from the very first page. The narrative weaves a compelling tapestry of martial arts prowess and vivid characters, with each chapter revealing new depths of both personal growth and ancient combat secrets. The protagonist's journey is both inspiring and relatable, as they face trials that test their resilience and the unbreakable bond of camaraderie. A thrilling blend of action, strategy, and unexpected plot twists keeps the reader hooked until the very end. This book is not just a martial arts adventure, but a profound exploration of human potential. Highly recommended for fans of the genre.
