I'll summary like maybe 500-600 chapters for u if u interest. MC got overpower, killed enemies and go "missing" or hiding for a bit then come out to clean up more enemy becuz they got power up, repeat. . .

Watch the animated series first imo, it's always easier to get into novel after watching it's adaptation and this one is really good. Honestly, I read it a while ago so I don't remember how quality was it but I do remember that it was enjoyable

Its just that its not everyones cup of tea .people who have only read a few hundred chapter call him simp but the f*ck*r aint no simp (we see it in later chapters).
The world constantly evolves the usage of power amd the power system also evolves constantly in such a way that you will feel its logical. Unlike most novels where there are just realms and more realms and then more ots has a intricate system that evolves constanlty.
After chapter 9 the translation is way better. Hopefully it stays that way.
