Good story. The world building are clear despite the short chapters. I really like the author notes that explain the characters that show up. I didn't expecting that Cain is related to the demon. Guess I should know when I read he is an orphan. Good story. Solid 5 stars from me.

Very promising story, a lot of potential.The setting and characters are introduced fast and effectively, the characters and plot evolve naturally although some parts seem a bit fast or flipped through.Definitely a good read if you like anti-heroes and the super-hero genre.

Because it sounds *very* similar to the (current arc in the) story I'm currently writing, (World Root, which is much more slowly updated so far) is this a coincidence?
