Nice book. Thanks to the author. Looking forward for book 2
I love this entire series. Can you please add audio. I’ve been waiting to read this one
Wow that was a intense chapter.. I feel bad for victor but happy she bonded with the alpha
engaging. needs editing. intricate and interesting story with some twists I didn't see coming. can be tedious as some parts are drawn out a little too long but overall very good
I am not okay. I am genuinely not okay. The scene where Le Huan dreams about her parents and her father cuts up her sandwich and feeds it to her mother while they whisper to each other—and Le Huan just watches them with this quiet devastation because she MISSES THEM. She says 'I miss you' and it's the softest, most devastating line in the entire chapter. 66 always told her she must have terrible parents otherwise she wouldn't have such a personality, and the narrative immediately corrects this: her parents are deeply in love, they're beautiful together, they're everything. They just didn't have extra love to spare for her because they had each other. And Le Huan never minded because she had everything material. But now she's in an apocalypse, alone, and all she wants is to go home to people who loved each other more than they loved her. This hits different because it's not about romantic love—it's about the loneliness underneath everything. She just got together with Zhao Yan, she's experiencing this incredible new happiness, and yet the dream reveals the hollow space that still exists. The author didn't need dramatic events or death for this to wreck me. Just a father feeding his wife a sandwich while their daughter watches from across the room, longing for a home that might not even exist anymore. Also the cat scene with 66 feeding Zhao Xiaoqiang was surprisingly tender. Even a ghost-like system entity learned to care.
Any man who leave this pregnant wife for another woman doesn’t deserve a second chance and please author give Anna some brain, you are just dragging this book unnecessarily for more money , she should tell him why she hated him not beating around the bush, is getting annoying with Anna character
You never disappoint with the stories you created! Caspian and Andrea's story is as captivating as the others! Well done Cassandra! Looking forward to the next book!
