Hi. I apologize for slow updates. I have been terribly sick but I'm back now and will upload frequently. Let me know what you think about the story in the comments.
To be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Imperial harem novels are not a genre I'm particularly familiar with, so I can't say if this portrayal is typical. However, what stands out to me is the emphasis on familial bonds, which is quite different from what I've seen before. In most stories, there's constant conflict, with the protagonist being the only likable character while the male lead often comes across as unsympathetic.
This novel, however, showcases genuine relationships between the MC and non-family members, who are kind and respectful. The MC forms meaningful connections with her family, choosing to avoid unnecessary conflicts and only retaliating when provoked or disliking someone. This approach to familial dynamics is new to me, and even her siblings treat her with affection without crossing boundaries, which is a refreshing change. The fact that the sister, typically portrayed as an antagonist, becomes a friend is another surprising twist.
The portrayal of servants as complex individuals, with both good and bad qualities, adds depth to the narrative. The children are depicted authentically as curious and playful, making it easier to empathize with them. The development of the mentally challenged full-blood brother is intriguing, and the author handles his condition with sensitivity, neither glorifying nor belittling him.
The main character, while having a fondness for good looks and being manipulative, possesses a redeeming heart and can be tough when necessary. It's enjoyable to see her assert herself. Despite some plot inconsistencies, they don't detract significantly from the overall story, as the focus isn't on them.
In conclusion, this might not be a perfect review, but I genuinely loved this simple yet engaging tale. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. [4/5] - All the best.
If that's true then the rankings on this site are absolute bs

Having ventured into "Into the Zombie World," I found myself engrossed in a thrilling narrative that blended post-apocalyptic chaos with unexpected human connections. The author's vivid descriptions brought the undead realm to life, keeping me on the edge of my seat with every chapter. The protagonist's resilience and resourcefulness were commendable, making me root for their survival. Although the setting was dark, there was a subtle undercurrent of hope that resonated deeply. Overall, it's a captivating read that explores the depths of humanity amidst adversity.
