It’s so much fun! I love the main character (their son). It feels like if he were real, he would be such a great person to hang out with. He’s just vibing his way through life, refusing to let anything bring him down ??. He’s one of those people who can vent to you and then turn around and crack a joke when the conversation gets too deep ??.
I really appreciate how laid-back his parents are with him. There’s this funny scene where his parents are having an emotional moment, and the main character is just standing there, totally chill ?️.
So far, I’m loving the characters and the story [Chapter 26].

It was such a fun read, with just the right amount of side angst and then full-blown emotional moments. I never thought it would hit me this hard. I cried so much when the main character went through the leukemia treatment process. It spanned about three chapters, and I was in tears the whole time. My nose was blocked, and I couldn’t catch my breath. His parents’ reactions also broke my heart. The main character’s wish to see his parents' wedding and then passing away on that day was incredibly moving. That chapter shattered me. Anyway, I love this story and how the "neglect" in the main character’s life is explained. No unnecessary drama, just a well-crafted narrative about family reconciliation.

Ikr! That's why I dropped this. She has become so so weak I was honestly expecting her to really try to leave them and be independent cuz wasn't that's why she entered the film industry in the first place? But now she's just trying to be protected and live wealthy with her cold "brother"
