She's nuzzling his arm like a cat, half-asleep, and he's genuinely considering kissing her. The romantic tension in this scene is OFF THE CHARTS. And then the feeding happens. The author describes it in such clinical detail — wrist feeding vs. neck feeding, the hollow fangs, the special substance that causes euphoria — and yet somehow it reads as both medical and deeply sensual. "In one word: euphoric. In two words: absolutely euphoric. In three words: truly damn euphoric." I literally laughed out loud at this escalation. It's funny but also kind of horrifying when you think about it — she basically drugged him with her saliva and he passed out from pleasure. The aftermath is where it gets really tender though. After he's drained and needs days to recover, instead of being upset, he starts negotiating a THREE-POINT AGREEMENT. And the third point is MARRIAGE. Not because he's romantic — he literally says they have no feelings for each other — but because he's trying to create a legal framework to protect himself. The fact that Ying Sitong's reaction is to slam the table and say "our Blood Clan Code states that once a Contract is established, it cannot be dissolved" shows how differently they view this whole situation. To her, it's fate. To him, it's a negotiation. And then she blushes when he suggests a marriage in name only.
