This novel is my cup of tea. I like harmless system and MC personality is just my ideal MC: smart, patient, less standout, childish somethimes but it's only an acting to deceived people. Over all 5 star from me
I dont know what is even happening in this novel. Its like the TLs are putting the original version and a plagerised version in the same book. There are chapters where they are litterally just doing the same things with about 2 paragraphs words worth of difference. Dunno whether author or TLs are just trying to pad the chapter count.
This is the Xianxia novel I've waited for. It has some cliche situation here (which novel didn't have it?) but the author executes it well. The MC of this novel is even trying to beat the cliche by using his novel reading experience when he was on Earth. :D it's funny.I give writing quality 4 stars because there are some grammatical errors (it's not affecting my reading experience so far but I'll put it here in case some grammar police are dissatisfied with me.) and the narration is slightly too much which we know some readers don't like information. They just want action and skip time only.Wish the author the best and please don't drop this.
for a second I thought that this novel was romantic ?????????????????????????????????????????????????
I had read lots of negative reviews about this novel, but who would say that almost all of them are on the dot! The Mc is extremely unfriendly, and it is almost impossible for me to agree with most of his actions; I do not care much about the magic theme or how these eel changes happen, but there are simply so many inconsistencies in the plot! He claims to be extraordinarily lazy in the early chapters, and a few chapters later he says he is not someone who leaves things for later and does everything as soon as possible. The whole story is full of obvious macho comments every few chapters. There is also the fact that every character that mc meets coincidentally becomes part of the story somehow. As a police beauty hates him the moment he meets him, and a few chapters later she is forced to ask him for help because the police force needs an extremely specific service that only the newly founded company of mc performs. Or in an episode at the restaurant; he offends a woman and two men by going to breakfast and acting in a hypocritical way, and in fact these two men were part of a gang that continues to chase after him once and the woman also has a relative who needs help of mc to be cured. There are also consistent irrational nationalist acts; At one point he is literally going to steal Japanese technology and the whole time he is depreciating them and talking about destroying some of his ships for convenience on the way. Not to mention the translators! How I hate them! The review and editing are particularly bad, and a chapter between 38 and 39 is missing! Literally a lot of people commented on this in Chapter 38, a lot of people commented on the 39; they kept commenting on it in Chapters 40, 41 and even 42, and so far no one has packed it! Do any of you even read the comments ?! I hate this novel with all my might. Well, not to say that I'm irrational, mc is smart and interesting only in the moments when he discovers or invents a new utility for the 'powers' of the eel, and the release rate is good enough, but I'm definitely not voting like five stars in that because the general that this novel deserves is 1.
This novel is overall good, but for some reason, almost everyone around the Mc is always trying to dissuade him from doing literally anything. Like you would think that after experiencing a massacre or something they would have their horizons broadened or at least more faith in the mc, but nooo when he goes against weaker things than what they experienced with him, they are still not convinced that the mc can do anything about it. It would have been fine if it was like 1-2 people, but it’s literally everyone.
Amazing story line. I love how the characters are developed. The mc is really amazing love his personality. Keep the story up looking forward to the rest.
J’ai fini le premier chapitre de le roman, la parcelle et le dévelopement du personnages est fantastique. L’auteur a décrit les relation des personnages clairement et j’aime ton roman.
This is one of the best and well thought out Orginal novels on Qidian. The relaxed and smooth transitions and clear descriptions of the characters, mechs and building processes are amazing to see from someone who is not a professional writer. But all of these pale in comparison to the godly battle scenes in this novel. By far some of the most exciting and powerful battles and battle descriptions I have ever read. Even if you don’t normally enjoy mechs you should try this novel.
Alrighty, this is probably my first real review I have even written, mostly because I like my bloopy persona. However, this book is just so close to being something amazing while being written by an author who is very good, so I feel the need to give my honest critique on how to make this story go from a good story to a phenomenal story. So, lets start with some things that I notice are being doing very well. The character personalities are very distinct, at least from what I can tell. Most new authors have the issue of letting their own personality leek into the characters they write, making all have similar ticks and whatnot. This author, however, has done a good job so far of keeping the characters being themselves. This is great, but what is no so great is how the author has developed the personality (well, specifically the mc since none of the other characters have existed to the readers long enough to develop). You can think of a story like a road trip, where you are trying to go from the beginning of the story to the end, where there is hills and valleys (conflicts and resolutions), and of course the occasional pitstop (info dumps, really anything that interrupts the flow of the story), which causes the car of the reader to come to a complete stop. These pitstops are where the problem in this book lie, there are way too many of them. Every time the mc has even a little bit of character development, the entire story pauses and stretches the moment out. Try to make it so that a non-groundbreaking oh-my-gosh-the-world-is-going-to-end type events limited to only a couple of paragraphs, it will help keep the metaphorical roadtrip a lot less choppier.Another thing this author has done pretty darn good is the reasoning. There is always a why to everything that is done that is logical and pretty easy for most readers to readily accept, which is a lot harder then it may sound. Except, there needs to be a balance in how you expain this, it is completely understandable if sometimes there just needs to be an info dump, or something the mc explains in his/her head for the reader’s sake. However, using the same method over and over become repeatitive and boring, and will lead to readers skipping past parts because they feel they have already seen it before. A pretty simple way to fix this would be use a similar idea to crop rotation, where you use a couple different ways of explaining the whys behind things, and just rotate them in such a way the same way of explaining things is never within ~5-8 chapters of eachother.I really feel that if you can fix these 2 things, author, this book can have a much higher quality standard and attract a lot more attention. Thank you for all the hard work you put into writing a book and hope you have a great day, whoever reads this :)Also bloop.
it's a mediocre read. i enjoy the route the novel was trying to go with alchemy in a game to earn money, I just really dislike naive innocent uncultured uneducated main characters. there hasn't been a single moment of him becoming more social or actually learning any more than he already has not had he really just focused on alchemy. it's mostly just oh yeah he learned this and that in an hour and can do it with his eyes closed now. not saying it's bad, just it makes it seems like just another cultivation novel. there honestly doesn't seem like there's any point in the transitions to RL as they are basically meaningless snippets.
this story you will not want to put down ... its so good. protector to husband and wife to lover for life.
