Love this book! But the book cover is fuzzy.
It seems there are mixed reviews, with some acknowledging the book/web novel as a fun escape from reality. The protagonist's overpowered nature and the loving relationships attract readers, even if they find it unrealistic. Many have watched the anime and while they enjoyed it, they criticized the poor CGI. Some haven't read the manga yet but plan to. The point of such stories is to indulge in a fantastical world where the main character's charm can be appealing, and perhaps critics are a bit envious of the idealized life portrayed. Everyone agrees that it's a lighthearted entertainment, after all.
I'm certain the author put a lot of effort into the book, so I'll approach my critique gently. However, truthfully, I couldn't proceed beyond Chapter 27. The female lead (FL) is unbearable and illogical. Despite trying to set aside logic and common sense, the narrative only deteriorated as I read on. The plot might have potential, despite being clichéd, but the FL's behavior is just ridiculous. She fails to comprehend that she's living in an ancient era, where things naturally operate differently. Her constant self-absorption is grating. I really gave it a shot, but unfortunately, I've decided to stop here.
We all got that auto-correct in out brains as a class perk specifically to Erudite Readers
Wait... just like that?
Is this novel good? Does anyone recommend this?
Thanks for the reply, I was worried for a sec because I like this novel and I absolutely hate when MC's die at the end of a story
No it's not isekai and she used to be an ordinary citizen of that world. If you're indecisive about reading you you can either read 13 chaps to get a feel for it(though chapters are insanely long) or you can visit reviews section, as I've written a long review and tried to cover everything without spoiler; but of you want spoilers you can tell and I'll gladly spoil some non-important details of the story.
Book is done
The writing is god awful, the characters are incredibly hypocritical, the t*rt*r* scenes are weird and the cringe is terrible. But putting that aside the story is genuinely interesting. It’s a pity this is the authors first novel as i can see it rising higher if he had some practice. Also a minor spoiler: There is a reason why the characters are so incredibly emotional.
Chapter 112 its legends never die of against the current... Yeah this is the second one
Her husband still died, it’s too late to make up for it
