This is a great and unique novel and stands out from among the novels here which almost have same theme and plot. I highly recommend it.
Seems interesting. Please update :)
I recently discovered that this book shares the same author with 'Back to the Sixties: Farm, Prosper, and Raise Cubs' (BTTS). Having read BTTS, I personally prefer that series. The characters in BTTS resonate more with my preferences, and I particularly enjoy the main character (MC) and their family dynamics.
Nonetheless, this novel is still a decent read, and I appreciate the translator's efforts. My apologies for any grammatical errors in my English.
This is my all-time favorite novel by QT. I appreciate how she gradually brings us back to reality after each plane journey, rather than diving straight into the next story. It allows us to connect with the real main character (ML) on a deeper level.
And oh boy, this book turned me into quite the sadist, hehe. Initially, I was an emotional rollercoaster during the early planes, but as I got used to it, I found myself eagerly anticipating the protagonist's trials on the plane, especially when... well, let's just say there are some intense moments. The system dynamics are another highlight for me; their constant banter is genuinely entertaining, and I feel this system has more complexity and personality compared to others.
I really want to keep reading, but alas, I'm only able to read the machine-translated version. It's frustrating because the translation sometimes causes confusion, but hey, I've managed to survive through 600 chapters that way. At least I can still enjoy the story despite the occasional setbacks.
Indeed, I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Although I empathize with Cheng Bai's tragic past, it's important to note that Cheng Yuanyuan didn't mistreat him as portrayed in the recent part of the narrative. Initially, Cheng Bai wasn't always there for the female lead, maintaining a distant attitude and developing feelings later on, which aligns with his past life sacrifice mentioned earlier. Now that his "curse" seems to be lifted, I sincerely hope he experiences love and happiness in either this life or the next. The male lead also faced significant challenges, so both characters underwent their own personal struggles, with Cheng Bai's ordeal being particularly harsh.
Dont worry I here
25+ something like that
A gem of a novel.
I have read in the current order and i have found something strange when I reached upto 150 chapters that both our FL and ML possess some supernatural powers !!?.
There is not any mention of they having certain powers before .... Or did I miss it ?
Please ,somebody say to me what is their powers?
If the story is so boring and unimpressive then how did it get a rating of 4.5?! Can anyone who completed the novel give me some opinions about it?
In the later parts it will turn into a cultivation type and the levels and stats will be meaningless
Got a bit bored with the movies and all those netizen comments, but not too much. The plot is interesting, and the characters have real development, which keeps them from feeling flat. There's a cute side couple, though they don't get much screen time. I wish the main character had shown more of his special qualities and how his past life influenced him, but overall, this is a light novel, not a deeply developed novel. I was quite surprised by how well certain aspects were portrayed, like how PTSD affected the main character, his occasional insecurity, and glimpses of the ruthlessness he had to adopt in his previous life. A more serious plot with the main character as an action hero might have been interesting, but it could have ruined the fluff, and this light novel clearly wasn't aiming for that. All in all, it’s a different kind of entertainment story, with unique characters that still follow some familiar tropes, and an occasional deeper emotional drama. Good read for me.
