A simple premise: world ended, how to fix it? Yet even with a simple idea, one can find a lot of heart in a story like this.The story has a good amount of world building to kick off the plot without raising too many questions. And even when questions come up, it feels like they’re addressed swiftly while still making it feel like there’s more to discover later on.Writing is polished and clean, a welcome surprise given how often the story is updated (sometimes multiples chapters a day!).I can’t get enough of the character interactions. They’re fun, heartfelt, and even at their silliest moments, it feels like most interactions carry tidbits of hidden meaning if one wants to ponder further upon the themes and messages behind lines. Or you can take it at face value and also enjoy simplicity. There’s something for everyone.Highly recommend giving this story a try. Hoping to see more people become crab enjoyers.

When I read the first chapter of this book, I was blown away by the intricate use of vocabulary, but as I ventured even further into the book, with each new instalment, I was blown away even further yet again! After reading your latest chapter, it makes your first one look like a mere rookies work—despite that chapter dwarfing most on this site. This is actually pretty good. The fights that happen don't feel utterly pointless. The story is progressing smoothly. Finally, and this might just be for me, it feels refreshing, not like the other reincarnated as an animal LN's, no system to speak of, just a guy who has a general idea of what he wants to do, but not fully decided yet, he's not being led by a system to do soemhtung he might now want to do.

Its a pretty solid book. Not alot of grammatical errors which is great. Story is pretty solid, characters are generally interesting. Sometimes the plot can be aggravating, but it makes up for it with good moments.The biggest flaw in the book in my estimation, is the fights. Every detail of the fight is painstakingly described. Now I suppose if that is your thing, you enjoy that and more power to you. However, I find it to be tedious and cumbersome. When you tell the story of a fight to someone you dont describe every tension of the muscles to them, why? Generally because you dont remember, adrenaline blurs the details. The other reason is because the point of the fight is not the fight.A fight is a vehicle by which the story advances, spending half the chapter, sometimes multiple chapters on a fight, actually dulls the tension and lessens the payoff. Make no mistake I recommend the book. Its a good read with good characters, the flaw I raised is one of the few it has so give it a try.
