I adore this; their connection is truly enchanting, and I eagerly anticipate witnessing it grow even more. A big thank you to everyone involved in the translation process. I am hopeful that one day, another translator will take on this beautiful story.
I've read this multiple times, and it's currently my favorite system novel. The reason being, the main character doesn't possess overwhelming power like the MC in "Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil" (that character seemed to excel at everything), nor does she have extraordinary cheats like Shi Sheng. Instead, she resembles the protagonist in "Doomsday Wonderland," working diligently without a male lead. I appreciate how she emphasizes self-respect for women, rather than solely relying on men.
There might be hidden depths and mysteries surrounding her character, which adds intrigue to the story. However, I have to agree with Brave Armadillo's critique regarding the first arc – it was quite distressing, especially as someone who experienced bullying myself (being the poorest among wealthy peers and considered overweight). The resolution didn't satisfy me, and it reminded me of the recent Busan bullying incident where the perpetrators showed no remorse and even sued the victim. It's concerning to see some young people exploit their situation.
The silver lining is the MC's quirky sense of humor, which helps alleviate my stress when I'm angry, turning anger into laughter. After the first arc, the story becomes less intense, and the main character grows stronger and becomes a formidable force. However, I would enjoy it more if there were more depth to the seemingly one-dimensional villains, as I believe there's potential for exploring genuine beauty amidst those extreme circumstances.
This is a good story, and it's not rap*y as everyone says. The ml stop when she said no, so yeah it's a good story.
just so evrybody knows the author has quit writing for a time so this and his other novels will not be updated anytime soon.
must be fate ??
haha it's bcs i have surfed the bl tags here tonnes of times lol
Sir, if you liked your dinner, you might as well add a 5 star review as well. If you do, the desert is on the house.?
This is like reading a fucking manhua it bullshit character
Lol, any Novel where the protagonist is not a dumb sh*t and has character development will just make you like them after you read about a 1000 chapters
I skipped most of the chapters. There were so much unnecessary patronizing about FL and ML that u feel disgusting already. I never liked that the author thought that rape was ok as long as the rapist was good looking. Instead of at least giving justice to the victim the author just keep patronizing the rapist to turn him into a loving prince. Unbelievable!
The blend of xianxia (immortal fantasy) and modern gaming setting might intrigue, but for a sensible read, I wouldn't suggest this. The protagonist (gong) is overly OP due to his real-world cultivation background, which grants him an unfair advantage based on his experiences. It doesn't sit well with me, personally. His skills and identity seem too unrealistic. The plot, though, is decent – it revolves around gaming, adventures in an MMORPG, and unraveling mysteries surrounding the main character's past. The male lead (shou) is average, portrayed more as a relatable individual compared to the主角. Unfortunately, the author doesn't delve much into supporting characters or the MC's companions. As I haven't finished the story, my assessment may change with more content. Please excuse my poor English; this is my first-time writing a review.
Check between 300-350
No problem, each to their own :D
